Parta will spud very soon but do not expect that to have much effect on the sp as spudding is not an indicator of success, however, I believe just 8 days was quoted for the drill and if that is successful then that should have an impact on the sp and then further updates on the 'running room' we keep hearing about will push it on. Add on both West Newton and Cali production at different timelines and we should underpin a much higher sp base level than where we are now.
doubleup, no idea mate and i'm not trying to justify it one way or the other just what I heard and BMD did go to twitter saying 'Take the Deal!' Was there a deal? I don't know. Will Indonesia be worth more than 0.5p if we get 250 bopd and other wells lined up with CAV, probably, and that could be what Simon also thinks, but again I don't know as it's all rumour. What I do know is the only facts that I will go by are the end of month figures and those alone, could be really good, could be average, could be disappointing. As I said it will be a long month. atb
I think, but could be wrong, the comment about Greg being right is not the 0.1 share issue but about Simon turning down an offer for ADL to allow him to take the Indonesian project. Think it would have valued ADL approx 0.5p a share lock stock and barrel, good for BMD who bought in t 0.14 giving +300%profit hence the twitter 'Simon Take the deal' rant a couple of months ago. Not good for those who bought in at 0.9/1p ( me:¬)
That just about sums it up. all we can do now is wait. Quite simply at the end of the month first and foremost we need an increase in production just to show it can be one. If we can come in at target / total of 150 bopd that will hopefully set the ball in motion for CAV to offer further work on more wells. If we come in at 250 bopd it will cause excitement within CAV as well as ADL and genuinely believe it will be a turning point for us.
Hi Greg, yes I am very confident just wanted to put a balanced view of what possibles there could be, i think we will be closer to 200 bopd total than 150. Just wondering if we hit 200 what the sp will go to, hopefully we should see 0.3p, certainly got to push through 0.2p! atb
No way of knowing at this stage what the increase (if any) will be. I do believe there will be an uplift from 70 bopd and several ways to do that but the easiest method of those will be if Gregor Mawhinney can, as he stated he thought he could, was to reduce the casing gas. This will naturally allow fluids to flow more freely giving more volume irrespective of the water / oil cut. An oversize pump has also been stated to be used and an unknown quantity also in that untested zones within the same well to be perforated ( explosive permits received). These could be all water or no fluids at all, could also be a better oil / water cut, no way of knowing yet but if we can come in at or above target of 150 bopd then we can hopefully turn a corner, as slow as it wil be and give us a breathing space time wise until Colter news which imo will be a long way down the line. Workovers small but far more important to ADL than Colter currently. In fact I would go as far as to say absolutely bloody vital short / medium term. A long 4 weeks before we find out, good or bad. atb
Thanks doubleup, that is were I am at for the moment, I don't think anyone is not aware that in the past ADL have been the dog of dogs of a share. But I can't change or influence the past and will not ramp for the future, all I can do is to be forward looking of where we are now and what the company is trying to achieve. Workovers as small and unexciting as they are, in my opinion bring a safer more solid 'bread and butter' stability than £m 'exploration' deals such as Colter ( as good as they are if they come of). End of August to see if we do indeed get bread and butter, who knows we may even stretch to jam! atb
Thanks for the reply and I accept the official spin from the company as the first part of your post and also your views of CV not funding themselves hence ADL's involvement.
Going on facts that ADL are indeed doing the work, irrespective of your views on CAV, do you accept that ADL could be on a path to recovery, if we do get 250 bopd. Genuinely interested in your thoughts on that scenario irrespective of the why' and wherefore's of who is doing the work. atb
Doubleup, genuine question about your views / thoughts on production of oil from the workovers in this scenario:
If workover production is increased from 70 bpd to 250 bopd, and yes its not a definite, but assuming it does, we know the water / oil separator tank can process 5,000 bofpd and a 95% cut would give 250 bopd :
Q: Are you saying that as currently in an official capacity ADL are not producing a single barrel ( I accept this) but if end of August the figures come in at 250 bopd that it is of no real worth / value to ADL?
Genuine question in that scenario, I am interested what are your views of 250 bopd in respect to ADL, is it still worth nothing.
No that's still happening Victor Hwang just clearing up some legal / court issues ad making a move soon. Go on push that button time is running out at this price.
Hi Greg, it' not beyond the realms of fantasy mate that if the workovers impress CAV enough / increases in production are significant then not only will we be called upon as first choice operator for other wells ( and the 33bcf gas !) it may just be that CAV take a stake in ADL i.e 20% or so. What a brucie bonus that would be, stranger things have happened.
