I believe fergu has multiplied 125m barrels by $15 giving $1.875bn and then RBD's 25% does give $468.75m. We may get 125m barrels we may not.

Thanks chaps, not long now whatever happens, just hope Parta, WN and California news does not all come in the space of a couple of days, would like to see it offset by a week ish each to get a new sp base to step up from on each news.

So on the basis that the high pressure incident was controlled and drilling has re commenced for the last 200 metres or so can we assume they will reach the base of their intended final target in a couple of days and an RNS update early next week?

Lots of additional wells and then moving on to Central & Eastern Europe (maybe) for similar plays to Parta as Stephen put it. Not too much red tape or hoops to jump through in these areas either.

Something is causing the high pressure obviously, similar geology in the area at the depths they are about to drill to next have shown liquid hydrocarbons in nearly all atempts.
Steven Williams comment about Parta being as big as WestNewton is an incredible statement to mae adby v nature of who has said it, he and Sachin are very cautious, very reserved and he must have more info than he is letting on for such a bold claim. As big as WN?

aduk would you say that the high pressure (in the bigger picture) is a good thing, i.e indications of high gas volumes possibly sitting on top of liquid hyrocarbons?

Hopefully an update tomorrow, at least the time frame suggests they are making sure of a definitive final flow rate of the next well and avoid last months ambiguity.

Joking apart, I would have thought 3% was do able, comfortably so, if its an actual reservoir and they did state liquid hydrocarbons in the RNS and also Cadeby as an oil saturated core, also think if something is saturated then it would come in 3%+ to whatever it was being applied to imo.

Lets hope so, just a decent increase again from another well should start to confirm to CAV that it is worth getting ADL on board and I know we all keep citing the 33 bcf but the oil increments from numerous wells even if not mind blowing individually will all add up to a decent final total which should not be dismissed as irrelevant for a small company the size of ADL.

Excellent last couple of posts chaps, dkok amazed at your workings out but yes if just 3% oil volume per cu metre is correct then it could be a huge find, still not even taken Cadeby in to account so volumes could increase again and with more drills planned next year in same license and same geology.
Really looking forward to CR just hope Rathlin ,RBD , UJO and others don't give it away too cheaply or throw in other 'drills' to a major for free. Should get $16 a barrel in the ground for onshore.

Fair enough perhaps Greg25 could enlighten but he may choose not to do so.

It was from another poster not (Greg25) who provided a snap shot on twitter of the info. I can't remember who the poster was but there was a lot of detail and remember reading through it, it was factual neither a ramp nor deramp.
Perhaps a trawl through AOGL bb could shed some light but it was mid August when I saw it. Can't remember the exact content but it looked favorable to AOGL & ADL.

Talk of 300m barrels at WN, but then talk is cheap. I will go with 130m+ as we have a 45m column over 7500 acres.
Should be more than 2 cupfuls, recoverable :¬)

AOGL have participation rights at Betun Selo, that's as much as I know.

Whilst we wait and a bit of fun I was wondering apart from Wytch Farm (oiip estimated back in the 70's as 480m ish barrels) if we are likely to be 2nd place to that does anyone know what 3rd place volumes were. My point is we are expected to come in higher than the 3rd largest volume onshore but below 1st place Wytch Farm.
So is 3rd place 50m?, 80m? 100m? and therefore we could guestimate, albeit very loosely, from what we may at least have.
