Thanks for that Loosely. It can obviously be a complex matter but there's more than one side to running a public company, beyond just the nuts and bolts. Managing expectations is one thing. It would have taken very little to update shareholders. If they can only say something along the lines of what you've said, the guessing, which lies heavily on sentiment, will be taken away. It may not have helped the SP but we would have felt included which is important for us and VLS.

Less than 2 weeks to the AGM so I'd be very surprised if we don't get something fairly shortly. If positive news the SP is sure to react quickly. We've had a 30% drop on the adverse news so I'm assuming any bad news is in the price already but you never know. Anyone going to the AGM?

I agree but I've been thinking about it and think the "third party" mentioned in the RNS may hold the clue. I've spoken to VLS and they are fully aware of the frustrations here and sense that they share that frustration. I can only conclude that solving the leak is somewhat out of their hands. I don't know who is responsible for the ancillary plant that was mentioned and that may well be part of the delay. There's obviously some sort of squabble over responsibility and the way forward to my mind. This third party may well be the key to it all and it doesn't look as if they are in any hurry. Meanwhile we sit here and concoct all sorts of scenarios in our minds which is never good for sentiment. A RNS will emerge eventually, must before the AGM surely, and, if positive, will make the SP fly IMO. There must be lots of investors sitting on their hands atm judging by the really poor volumes of late but that will change with news. For the brave or far sighted, depending on your point of view, this could be a terrific time to buy some very cheap stock. Don't take this as advice though. Make your own mind up.

I'm sure you're right. Personally I wouldn't want to go in to the AGM without an update being released prior if I was the CEO. He might even be able to pull some positive unrelated news out of the hat. We'll see.

I did emailed today but there is no update they can give. I should think they are fully aware of our frustrations not that it helps us. The other plant is running OK apparently.

I don't know who Ricardo is but, if he works for a PR firm that VLS uses, then I'm not surprised. My experience of PR firms is pretty negative. They never say anything that is not in a RNS. I honestly don't know what they are for apart being somewhere enquiries can be directed to and so relieving managements of answering irksome enquiries. Good to try though.

I emailed VLS to ask them about the dropping of VLS from RRB's partner list. Here is a portion of their reply. "What you are seeing is nothing more than RRB updating their website. I was asked earlier in the week for permission from RRB to use our black on yellow logo on their website – as we ask our partners to do - (they had been using the black on white version of the logo on their site) plus a photo of our reactor plus a link to our website." It looks like everything is still fully on track with RRB as my email enquiry also covered that. I must say I was quite worried about the implications of VLS losing partner status. Just got to get the leak problem clarified and off we go I reckon.

Its just over a fortnight before the AGM so you would expect a RNS before then. Maybe the buyer is anticipating this and that it is positive news as well. Personally, I have no idea.

I wasn't expecting a RNS today. I didn't think it would come on a Monday for some reason. Can't give you a coherent explanation as its a gut feeling. Anyway, not disappointed today but will be if we don't get one this week. I won't labour the point as I've ranted on about it before. What else might we expect? The Red Rock people want to have 10 sites up and running but no timetable has been mentioned. Will they wait until the first plant is up and running or will they be confident enough to announce other plants as they sort out the funding? We have Natchez as well and who know what other projects are being negotiated. And lastly we have the AGM on the 29th. I wish I could be there but I'm out of the country. Its often not what they say from the podium but the after meeting chats that give best clues as to where the company is going and how the progress is aligning to strategy. I strongly urge anyone who can to attend. If anybody does attend i would really appreciate some feedback.

Strange trading pattern today. On 5 occasions there have been "O" trades fairly quickly followed by identical amounts of shares but with "A" trades. No idea what it means but with so little news to discuss I guess we're down to making up our own observations/news.

You're not alone OG. Investing is a lonely business, full of doubt. It may be that VLS hasn't finalised everything about the leak but a short update would do wonders to steady the nerves. Its a pity as other good news floating around will be ignored until this pressure on sentiment has be relieved.

I forgot to mention the SP in relation to the new runway. Any indication of firm agreed plans for a new plant would give a big lift to the SP especially if further plants were mentioned. ATM, the FID on the BA linked plant is given a FH 2019 from memory but the decision by the government and the need to show pollution reduction may well bring this forward IMO. As I posted earlier, I could well imagine VLS getting a call from BA the day after HMG's announcement discussing early implementation. The SP should react very positively to any indication of movement on this front. It wouldn't need to be a concrete order as such to shift sentiment and we do need a shift of sentiment ATM.

Agree OG but the cart can't come before the horse. The guys at Heathrow need to show evidence that they can bring pollution down before the project gets the final go ahead. That means showing that biofuel is less polluting and that there are concrete plans to supply sufficient amounts of the stuff. BA is not waiting for the 3rd runway to be built. They are clearly setting out to improve their green image which must be followed by other airlines to avoid public and governmental wrath. These plants will be up and running well before the new runway is operational IMHO.

This could be massive for VLS. Its not just BA who need to cut emissions at Heathrow and other UK airports. Cutting by BA would be good but the overall emissions amount needs to be cut, or shown that they will be cut by evidence, before the runway gets it's final OK. I can quite easily see that more than one plant will be needed. How many plants? I'll leave that for other to ponder.
