Fair comment. Not sure that I would put as much weight on that issue as you do.... but if you run with that thought,..it in some makes a case for FB,... to enter the content provider role via the back door,..ie by taking/building significant stakes in other companies, like Melody VR?

Don't think they will have any choice,.. if the un-stimulated test, proves up the well as commercially viable,.. then that surely would be classed as price sensitive information and it would have to be released IMHO.

RNS 29 Jan:

Possibly the un-stimulated test results at circa month end,... IF they choose to release them and not wait until all testing is complete. Personally if the un-stimulated flow rate confirms that the well is commercial ie 1.,5-2.0 range,.. then I believe that would have to be released immediately via RNS.

So, fingers crossed,... we hear in a few days,.. my guess would be next week rather than the end of this week.

We should have about £1.7M final payment from the from the tech contract, that was deferred from the end of last year, dropping in to our coffers in the first quarter,....of which the expenditure associated with that sales revenue was booked last year.

That, together with the recent raise,..and the new income stream from the acquisition,... I hope will see us right for a while,... especially if we did manage to get back to EBITDA positive,.... which we will know in 8 weeks.

Well,... they certainly looked excited and happy about the New Year and two week holiday!

There's nothing like a motivated work force,.......... and they looked nothing like a motivated work force!

... revealed some very positive news regarding TE-7,.... which was un-expected.

Importantly,... what it does demonstrate,... is that whilst we are all focussed on the TE-10 result,... the company is still pouring a considerable amount of effort and expertise analysing the existing discovery, seismic and technical data,..in order to validate the find and help any purchase extrapolate define the technical analysis.

this would show itself in a number of ways:

1 A reduction in cap ex for the drilling- resulting in an increase in the £'s/Tcf valuation?-- which would be beneficial to the hole of the resources,. where, proven, probable or inferred.
2 a reduction in timescale to get to maximum/targeted flow rate--leading to further on-site costs savings etc., and bring forward the target date to break-even/profitability
3 Higher pressure may impact upon the recovery factor?
4 Higher pressure may make the 'charging' of other areas more likely and bring over targets in play?

Is that sound thinking,.. any geologists care to comment on what the RNS could actually mean to SOU?

Ahh... to be fair Foxxy,... with this management,... despite having two long term contracts signed,... it does feel like Mission Impossible!

The SOU Newco,... could have many uses,.... even as simple as being used as a vehicle to sell, Sidi to one party and Tendrara.. to a different party.

Maybe that is what is happening in the background. JP feels that has become a serious possibility?

Who knows,.. we are just guessing,... but prudent of the management to have that set up and ready to go. They clearly have done it for a very specific reason,... and a reason that they can't divulge to us yet,... so I presume it is very much price sensitive?

An iceberg trade? I know Mr Parsons was thinking of linking the GSA to the price of oil, but has he now moved on to linking it to the price of lettuce?
