Least surprising news of the year, the market doesn't seem too upset about her leaving.

Good news all round, well apart from the poor sod who died, bit late for him.

Fair enough, maybe I am over reacting a little... it's just frustrating to see a 7-8% drop in the space of a week, apparently for no other reason than it was a bit oversold. Those kind of drops for other shares would normally be headline news and due to some pretty bad trading figures or profit warnings, but it's just seems routine for RMG to do it, and for no real reason.

But I wasn't referring to the DOW, NIK, HS etc. I was specifically referring to RMG and it's relationship with the FTSE100 and that it always seems to act contrary to it... When FTSE drops, RMG holds/rises - When FTSE rises, RMG drops

.... and RMG doing what it's always done, i.e. performing the exact opposite of the FTSE. FTSE rises today so RMG drops, same old story!

perhaps he's including his divi returns in the 100%?

To be fair I don't think anyone expected or predicted this rise, the SP had been performing poorly even before the pension issue and strike ballot.

Wow indeed. If RM can get the burden of the USO reduced when that's up for review then this SP really could take off.

I don't think so. I think the current price is already reflecting an anticipated satisfactory outcome to the talks. This SP NEVER seems to rise dramatically in the event of good news or results!

Yes a touch disappointing to see, it's the usual story with RMG, never known an SP quite like this one to regularly have drops for no reason what so ever, whilst usually not reacting at all to any positive news or good trading figures. Why is it showing a daily high of 473 when the intraday chart shows it going nowhere near this?

How come the intraday chart is showing the end of day sharp little drop to 448... yet the SP is still showing as closed at 459?

As long as posties are expected to deliver 1000+ letters a day as well as numerous leaflets then I can't see how the RM parcel tracking or timed delivery slots can get any more accurate or specific.
