Wouldnt mind wagering they are still way behind SNG in terms of trials and getting hard evidence through that their drug actually works. Just goes to show the SP here is very much on the low side. Pleased people are coining it but this is a SNG chat room or at least I thought it was :)

I would hope SNG know more about optimal dosing levels than we do. It’s been in there care for over 10 years after all. Them the scientists not us. Bit like me trying to give Kevin De Bruyne advice on his football technique :).

Equity- it isn’t a conspiracy theory. The most likely scenario of an effective therapeutic and ‘game changer’ is a combination or ****tail of drugs to tackle COVID 19. SNG001 I believe will be a very effective virus replication ‘stopper’. Combine this with a drug which kills virus cells and you have the ultimate winning combination. Professor Holgate has already stated this will be the most effective and desirable outcome and a successful trial will almost certainly lead to finding the best drug/s to pair with. That for me will be an experiment run by a bigger pharma whether that be Gilead, AZN or Mercke. Probably to pair up with one of their drugs.

As an aside from that I would be very interested to know if SNG inhaled version is less likely to cause a cytokines storm in latter stage patients as it targets the lungs only and doesn’t fire up the whole system such as an injection would. Either way I’m pretty convinced that early administration is going to be SNG’s ace in the hole. Which would support findings with SNG001 in COPD and Asthma when given early in virus cycle.

SS- really backs up the other scientific data so far,

‘Delayed IFN-I response contributes to pathological inflammation whereas early IFN-I response controls viral replication’.

Interesting thing from the hospital perspective is we know they were not giving the drug In the trial to people on ventilators or the poorest in health. So will the drug be effective on less sick patients in the hospital setting despite late application. Whereas giving it to patients in the home setting within 3 days of symptoms should be a huge help if it prevents virus replication. Antibodies can take between 1-3 weeks to be produced by the body so if you can severely slow down or arrest the speed of the virus replicating then you are giving people a huge chance of them recovering and avoiding the inflammatory process in the sickest of patients. As I’ve said before any benefit from the hospital part of this trial is a big plus for me because home trial results will be much more favourable.

Johnt- I'm starting to think anything is possible with this share or rather SP. Its almost two different entities the company SNG and all the good things and then the SP and all the games and shenanigans that have been going on. I suppose everyone's money is the same colour but i cant help but think SNG and the PI's deserved better in respect of the II's that have been involved with this share. Would have been nice to have sticky handed II's but there you are. We've had to deal with what we had. I guess they (except Acacia) did help fund the trials etc. I do beleive you can't hold a good company down forever though. The results or anticipation of them should be enough to blast away Acacia as we get nearer to them. GLA.

i remeber 32.8p. I think if we head to around 33p I'm diving in again. Interesting that when JBER were on the sale at 36p they were on the buy at 33p. Maybe that gives us an idea where they see the bottom. Its hard to catch a falling knife so i'd be happy anywhere between 33-34 although current price is very fair too imo. We know its low because of the current and historical selling. For me they are giving people a chance to buy in. Still no guarantee it will be a success but i think it is fair to say this SP is currently skewed to the downside.

Bit like going to the dentist. You know you have to suufer some pain to come out smiling the other side. Once you have made the decision to wait for results all these games become inconsequential really.

Its been like this for some time to be fair. JBER sat on the sell. Today was looking particularly low volume then the price drops they offload down to and below 36p, buyers move in boosts the volume and hopefully Acacia reduce their holding further. JBER happy to sit there 2p below other market makers. Definately on the sell for an II. Lets hope some point soon we get an TR1 to back that assumption.

Suspect it is Acacia selling but no way to be certain unless we get a TR1. Just hope we can get rid of them before results land. Kind of feel SNG deserves a bit of uninhindered price movement. Have a good weekend all and looking forward to results within a couple of weeks.:)

Henners- of course one of the founders of Synairgen. It highlights how well connected the board is at Synairgen. I remeber RM describing the TRC's as family and the collective effort to pull together and get these trials set up and done. All of this is a positive imo. Someone mentioned earlier about SNG possibly not being business savvy enough. I really don't see that. Pharma's like AZN or Mercke will know biotech's like SNG are at the coalface, it is in their interests to keep a close eye on developments. No coincidence that AZN struck up relationship again with Prof Tom Wilkinson as the hosptital trial started.

Apologies if posted already but a nice little mention for Synairgen on Wednesday and the unique set up of trials and different health bodies working in unison to produce our trial results which again confirmed for disclosure in July.

This time next month i'll be eating beans on toast or steak and chips. Whatever happens the ride has been interesting. Ultimately, we will all still be eating, god willing.
