Nice one Nolupus, I’m pleased for you and all the long term holders here. Nice to have our day so to speak. I never had a massive holding but enough to do some damage. Could still change my life. This is the first share I’ve bought, although like many I did thorough research before buying. Question is whether to look to invest further or call it quits as beginners luck :)
Hey Crookie,
Have to be honest I got my capital back today at over 2.00. Didn’t really want to sell but really had to get some funds back as I was all in. I’m not much of a guesser but just think what kind of market cap this could reach. I don’t see why it couldn’t hit 400-500 million. Few things need to fall into place but we have great efficacy and that’s a great tick in the box. We are just on ITV!!!:)
Taxi for Astra Zeneca :). With the home trials it’s a pity they aren’t tapping the foreign cases in America. Can’t imagine they would have too many problems filling the trial then. Maybe something to consider going forwards.
The twitter guy top aim claims this too, which is plainly wrong. She was on a ventilator so there is no way she would have been put on SNG001. Wasn’t being aimed at the later stages of virus cycle.
Harwho. Their has been plenty of good posters and good debate on here over the last few months. We don’t need posters on here who are looking to insult people because they hold different viewpoints to themselves. I’m sure you can be above that. We all want a good result. Try and treat people with the same respect that you would if you were sharing a pint up the pub and were face to face.
Speaking to AFP in June, leading US scientist Anthony Fauci cautioned that dexamethasone should not be prescribed too soon after a person was infected.
"It had no effect, if not maybe even a suggestion of making things worse early on," he said.
"This is perfectly compatible with knowing that early on in infection, you need the immune system to suppress the virus."
In another interview he says the real jackpot would be a drug which can halt progression of the virus in the early stages. The same report above mentions the most seriously ill go on to have little or no interferon levels in their system. Hinting strongly like most research so far that a powerful virus inhibitor like INFb1a given soon after infection Could save people progressing onto the later stages and serious complications from this virus. SNG hopefully will buy people’s bodies time to produce the antibodies they need to recover from COVID-19. First part of the puzzle completed soon, exciting times.

Interesting read and highlights what we all fear (a second wave) but gives hope in taking steps to reduce the damage. Something else of interest was the task force was requested by Sir Patrick Vallance. Prof Holgate was chair so communications between the two then. SNG001 is successful we ain’t going to have a problem with getting heard.:)
So... Their has never been a successful vaccine for any coronavirus. Never found a successful vaccine for the common cold or flu. Never found a vaccine for HIV, which they promised within 5 years but has never happened in forty years. The vaccine they used for Dengue fever actually made the condition worse.
I admire the effort going into finding one but realistically it isn't going to happen by the timeframes people are throwing about. HIV was eventually negated by a ****tail of drugs which has happily led to sufferers leading near normal lives. Imo the same will happen here. Not saying it will be SNG but a drug that prevents replication (which i hope will be SNG001) and a virus killer and anti-inflammatary will be the most likely short to medium term solution.
