I just put in a dummy sell and it offered me 41.7 so all the 42p are buys. Been watching this share for a long time but never seen this. Constant buying at 42p but no movement on the SP.

Nolupus, yes of course he didnt do it purely for love i agree but then people go into certain work areas for different reasons and similarly i'm sure it wasn't purely for the money. You do what interests you and what you enjoy if you are lucky.

I still believe the upside as we currently stand is well worth the risk of failure at the current SP. I've risked a few months wages on this share. RM and the team at SNG have spent the best part of 15 years of their lives developing and building towards this moment. RM is holding i seem to remember 2.9m shares?. If this succeeds he's a multi-millionaire. Deservedly so. More imporatntly and i'm sure he would agree that lives will be saved. Its a morally sound investment, which doesn't mean to say it will work but if it does and I believe it will, it would be great for our pockets and our general mental health which in many cases has probably taken a bashing over the last few months. We've had to endure ups and downs but I don't feel any different about the prospects here than when i originally bought in. Don't let the doom mongers make you sell, believe in your judgement and research.

Rich- I think we’ve been fed a bit of a line on the vaccine front tbh. No one in the history of the planet has ever come up with a vaccine for a coronavirus. We have flu jabs but they aren’t a vaccine. With luck they work for a season. No cure for the common cold. No vaccine for HIV which has been around since the 70’s, and was promised within 10 years after surfacing in the West in the 80’s. We would need to get incredibly fortunate to get a vaccine within 18 months imo. At least an effective one that is worth mass producing. Taking a cynical view these vaccine companies are hoovering up a lot of government cash from around the globe in the search for the Holy Grail.

Having spent a fair bit of time in Leicester I would say it doesn’t surprise me the area is potentially going to get locked down. It is fairly synonymous with food packing and meat factories in the local. In laws lived in Stoneygate but we would notice lots of spitting going on amongst the community. Much more so than other places for some reason. This being a virus that can spread in saliva spray, coughing, sneezing etc it probably doesn’t help. Leicester did contribute quite heavily to SNG hospital trial so I’m assuming we are well placed to recruit from this unfortunate group of newly infected subject to them satisfying the recruitment criteria.

Rate of infection in uk over the last three days has gone from 652 to 1118 to 1380. Wonder how much more the #BLM, packed beaches and Liverpool’s football club celebrations will add to that tally. This problem started from a handful of infected coming in from Spain and Italy. We now have potentially thousands infected and we are coming out of lockdown. We are going to need SNG if it shows efficacy.

I agree Ghia- people just don't seem to be prepared to put up with isolation or social distancing anymore. We definately have a big problem if we don't kick this by September. Once normal flu season starts it will be here till next year at the earliest. Cold storage areas are the likely reason the abbatoirs here and in Germany have had breakouts. Cold weather will cause the virus shell to harden and become more difficult to kill out in the open potentially increasing its shelf life considerably. Not that it does badly in hot climates, Saudi Arabia is still having a big problem. Just spoke with my ex who works out there and she can't come home as she believes it is touch and go that they will close the country down again, and then won't be allowed back in. It's a proper mess.

Takenorisk- they get a £700,000 grant every year or so I believe. Nowhere near enough to take this further if successful but then they won’t need too. Someone else will step in with deeper pockets. Being scientists do you really think they would gamble the company away if they thought they didn’t have efficacy?. IMO there isn’t a snowball in hells chance they think this wouldn’t show benefit. Really not long to wait now either way so the next two trading days are inconsequential. Less than a month to first set of results.

Just watched the interview. Have to say GBK we must have watched different interviews if you thought RM was vague or smug. I thought he came across very candid. Answered every question didn’t dodge any and gave honest answers about having to team up with a large pharmaceutical at some point ahead. When asked what message he had for shareholders he said ‘watch our results’. In other words let the drug do the talking. Came across as confident to me. Ultimately SNG are getting on with what they are good at and upon satisfactory data the other things such as partnering up or takeovers will happen as a consequence of results. We have known for some time now hospital data will be released in July and he confirmed that is still the case. Should data be positive we will see a dramatic rise from current SP levels and any kind of collaboration/takeover would add a big premium on top of that so I wouldn’t fret about the SP in that scenario.

Just a hunch but i think we will get COPD results with the AGM on Monday. I won't be selling if we don't though. I would be surprised if there were any leaks thus far. We would be at 15p or 120p if that were the case and we touched 50p the other day so the SP doesn't suggest it either.

AGM on Monday. I wonder who the two shareholders are representing the rest of us?. Could be the CEO and CFO :). I know it isn’t me but I would have liked to have gone really.
