RE: Market Abuse. WTF.1 Sep 2021 18:33
When you deal multiple times in the same stock in quick succession you are also paying a dealing charge each time you execute a
transaction, so it is also potentially costing you more than necessary in dealing charges.
Therefore, we ask that you submit single orders for the full amount that you are looking to buy or sell, to ensure that we are abiding by
correct market etiquette and to ensure you are not paying more charges than necessary. If a live quote isn?t available in the size you are
trying to deal, you have the option of a limit order, or a telephone order.
If we don?t follow etiquette, there is a risk that a market counterparty stops dealing with us altogether, or requests that we remove a stock
from our online offering. This would then affect all our customers looking to deal in those securities.
The purpose of my message today is to reiterate the importance of market etiquette, and also to gently inform you that if you do break
market etiquette in the future, we will reluctantly take steps to limit your online access temporarily, during which time you would not be
able to execute online deals.
If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us.
Yours sincerely
