Given the range of platforms being developed (Immunobody, Moditope, Covidity, MAb's and Avidimab) it is quite an achievement to have gone over 5 months without any progress worth reporting.....lets hope for a torrent of news to put this right.

IMO the end of May has no significance. If SCLP have submitted an EOI then we won't be told about it. We will only hear something if / when CEPI funding is agreed.

the Parsortix device was first invented as a means to extract foetal cells from blood in order to allow testing for Down's and other conditions without having to invade the womb in any way. It was only later in 2010 that they realised that it could be used to capture cancer cells and this was validated in 2011 - imagine the excitement at that point although the notion of liquid biopsy was in its very infancy. Here we are 10 years later on the cusp of a paradigm change in cancer diagnostics etc.

I recall that the cartridges are available with different critical gap sizes. For cancers with large cells a cartridge with a larger critical can be used, which would lead to less WBC contamination. For cancers with smaller cells a cartridge with a smaller critical gap is needed, but the smaller the gap the higher the WBC contamination.

for the record, the RNS issued on 4th March said:-

'Some of the technical information requested necessitates some targeted additional analytical studies. However, these additional analytical studies do not require patient samples and ANGLE anticipates that the necessary studies, which are already at an advanced planning stage, can be completed and the response submitted by early May.'

I'm not going to get worked up about the fact that they might be running a few weeks later than planned - better to get it right.

probably not true to say that it seems that AGL have set their own goalposts out and written their own test paper - the information to be provided by Angle would have been agreed between Angle and the FDA, so Angle would have had some influence in this but the FDA would have had a lot of input.

One of the main reasons it has taken so long to get to this stage is that the FDA have had to figure out what they actually need from Angle to enable them to effectively evaluate the device. If I recall correctly a 'plan' was agreed between the FDA and Angle in 2018 (poss. late 2017). Angle executed against this plan and then made a Q Submission at the start of 2020 and this resulted in some further trial / analytic work being needed. Once this was completed Angle made their submission in Oct 2020 and received the AIR in Feb 2021....hopefully the rest of this journey will soon be complete.

The references to Angle are in the reader comments on the article - just drawing attention to Angle's technology and what a great investment AGL is.

Hi C7, if you follow the link I posted you can click on the SCIB1 trial. You can then scroll down to the bottom and click on 'Change History' - this allows you to compare versions of the trial info and makes it really easy to see what changes have been made between versions (including those to patient eligibility). You may have hit the nail on the head Diversified. The use of the term 'household name' would be a little unusual when talking about pharma as even the best known pharma's are hardly household names...at least that WAS the case until the Covid vaccine came along and AstraZeneca became a name familiar to virtually every household in the UK.

An American ADR (which is what the anpcy stock is) is the equivalent of 10 shares in AGL. Therefore divide the US price by 10 before you make a comparison.
