They are looking for a partner for Covidity for the trials post phase 1 (I guess we all presumed this would be the case but good to see it stated and hopefully news on this front soon).2. They are looking to do deals on the mAbs to accelerate development (so presumably that have done as much pre-clinical work as they reasonably can and are now on the deal trail again).Also good to hear Lindy say that Covidity and Modi 1 trials should start soon (although we ll know what soon means in Scancell speak).

where you say 'he was unhappy with the way board have decided to split IP' - DE has not actually said this. What he did say was that he felt the board should have issued an RNS about the formation of Zakari and the reason for it, but that the board were unwilling to do so. It is the fact that DE felt that the board weren't applying the appropriate governance that he decided to sell (despite the fact that the company Nomad also felt there was no need for an RNS), and not because of anything to do with the IP.

Oddly enough I did have a Scancell dream last night. The highlights were:-

1. Scancell decided to dispose of Novocellus - which is odd because that is something that I think Novocellus belongs to Angle !!!
2. Scancell announced that they intended to license Covidity to another party (who would do the trials / delivery) with Scancell getting milestones payments / royalties. This would allow Scancell to focus on the cancer platforms.

Make of this what you will....

The SP is starting to have the feel of a coiled spring which is about to release....

Let's hope the purpose of Zakari come to light soon - the company has been in existence for 2.5 months so presumably it will be put to use in the not too distant future.

IMO Angle would have received the AIR several weeks before the RNS was issued . By time the RNS was issued Angle clearly had worked out what they needed to do and the timeframe for doing it - this would have taken a few weeks. Therefore the clock probably stopped somewhere between 120 and 130 days. Minor point n the grand scheme of the wider speculation but there you go :-)

Maybe the reason that CH hasn't been removed from Zakari at companies house is because Scancell are intending to wind-up Zakari so there is little point in removing CH. If Zakari is indeed wound up this may shed some light on why CH has left Scancell i.e. a disagreement on the strategy that that led to the creation of Zakari.

All we need now is some Vulpes buying to signal their confidence in the new CEO and we are off to the races.

Lindy's comment in the RNS seems very bullish about the potential universality of the vaccine - she must have very strong data from the lab work to be so explicit in her wording.

Unfair to pre judge Lindy's effectiveness as CEO - she may turn out to be highly effective in getting things moving.

I agree moonparty and I believe that this is evidenced by the fact that Redmile provided the additional funds allowing Scancell to further develop the mAbs before entering into any commercial deals (if you recall a deal was on the cards but was not pursued once red mile provided the additional funds).

Bermudashorts - post 345 seems to partially answer the question about the needle free methods as the linked UKRI article states that electroporation will be used as one of the 2 needle free methods. Doesn't say what the other method will be though.

In my long experience of Angle they run a tight ship and are not at all leaky, I'm surprised you think otherwise.

Whilst clinical trials are of course the key validations, there is some independent validation of the platforms in the form of:

- the mAb 3rd party collaborations (which would probably have yielded at least one deal had we not decided to progress these further with the redmile funding)
- the CRUK work on SCIB2 done in the couple of years that they were runnlng with it
- the biontech collaboration regarding motitope related TCR
- plus, as you mentionec, the original SCIB1 trial

Ivy sorry to nit pick but it is an important distinction. I think you meant to say unvalidated rather than invalidated as the latter would indicate that the platforms have been independently shown not to wok, which as we know is not the case.

spre - where you say 'he knew about the new company set up before any pi' you are incorrect. Several other pi's were aware of the formation of Zakari several weeks ago but chose not to circulation the information in case it had a negative impact on whatever SCLP are in the process of doing.

As stated by others, I believe that DE has chosen to exit is shareholding purely because he disagrees with the both the company and their nomad regarding whether the formation of Zakari (and the related purpose) should have been immediately RNS'd. This IMO is consistent with DE's approach to things.

If it does actually drop in the morning it will be small and short lived as the net effect of this dilution is tiny.
