rigga - presumably they are getting on with the things which will ultimately significantly increase the value of the company. What do you expect them to be doing ? They can't control the market (many biotechs have suffered similar falls over the last few weeks).

Many biotech's have had a similar fall in SP over the last few weeks - AGL is no exception.

Vortex is a good product but costs multiples of the cost of Parsortix for a start.
Vortex hasn't the journey to FDA approval i.e. years behind AGL.
Parsortix has been the subject of far more papers and is used far more widely.
Vortex has limited funding compared to AGL so its long term future must be uncertain.

Darren, two highly respected brokers (Berenberg and Jeffries) have recently released reports on AGL. Berenberg stated that FDA approval is expected within weeks and Jeffries said that FDA approval is expected in 1Q (i.e by end March). Both Berenberg and Jeffries will have spoken to AGL in producing their reports so AGL (who are in contact with the FDA) must have given them this steer regarding the FDA timetable. This pretty much means that the FDA response could come anytime in the next few weeks.

The fact that they have brought RG into the role now rather than wait until they find the permanent appointee strongly implies that serious deal discussions, requiring full time attention, are underway. Why bring RG in if this is not the case ? It would also explain why Diggle has not wiggled recently despite the falling SP.

The vibes from Angle, and indirectly from Berenberg and Jefferies, indicate that we do not need to wait much longer (Berenberg say 'within weeks' and Jefferies say in 1Q). Jefferies and Berenberg won't be guessing these timeframes, they will have had a steer from Angle. Angle won't be making this up, they must be aware of where the FDA are in their process and that it is near completion.

I can't remember who it was, but somebody posted that they had been in contact with Scancell and had been told that the trial was paused because everybody coming in to potentially take part in the trail tested positive for Omicron.

Based on what was said in the results it sounds like the situation has improved and recruitment is once again underway.

I'd be very surprised if the trades over recent weeks have anything to do with the delay to the ovarian headlines. FDA approval is the 800lb gorilla in the room (with regard to potential SP uplift) and the result may come at any time.

I don't expect CEPI to take an interest until the Phase 1 results are published. Even if they do take an interest Scancell may not want them to be involved .

Given that these 'pair transactions' have been going on for a couple of weeks I think it is unlikely that it is a fund moving shares between accounts - if it was that, why not just do it all in one go instead of dragging it out over dozens of transactions ?

Thanks AB124. Given the performance of the share yesterday I'd be inclined to think that it was probably a buy from earlier in the day but, as you say, we'll never know.

It is just dawning on me that we could be a mere few months away from a potentially huge inflexion point in the SP. If the MODI1 trial starts to show that MODI1 works in H1 2022 then this will not only be fantastic in its own right but will validate the Moditope platform - the majors will quickly respond to this game-changing potential and the SP will IMO be multiples of what it is today. All of this could be just 6 months away if all goes well....

On top of this we will hopefully have at least one mAb deal in the bag, Covidity efficacy data, and maybe even the 2nd SCIB1 patient dosed.

What a fantastic H12022 it could be.
