Buy low sell high :-) Every day the same conversations are had here and questions about the share price. And the same answers are written.

Until the uncertainty is removed on what is happening the share price will probably keep lingering. The important news we need answers for include what is Newmont doing with Telfer/Havieron, what is the updated resource size, when is the feasibility study being released, and subsequent decision to mine being made. These 4 items are huge for what is to come for GGP and so until this uncertainty is answered you either consider this a buying opportunity or not.

Additional embers in the fire include our new JV with Rio and what the drilling my unearth, the current JV with NCM and drilling results, plus Ernest Giles and drilling their.

Once GGP becomes a "producer" its fortunes will be much improved. Steady income will be welcomed. And will the GDX ETF start buying GGP shares? Who knows.

Toffers the broken record. You must just copy and paste the same post each day. You can deduce what you want but no need to bash it down our throats for the non believers in your opinions.

IMO we won’t know what Newmont will do with its new portfolio until 2024. The vote to merge will not mean a market release the following day outlining Newmont’s strategy. You seem to think it will be. Let’s see.

Toffers you are making assumptions not facts. We do not know what will happen yet. The Newmont vote has not occurred. If successful Newmont will take time to assess the new portfolio before deciding their next steps. You can have your opinions but they are not facts as facts will not be known until 2024.

Newmont do not own Newcrest at present, nor have they announced their specific action on how to achieve the stated cost saving synergies. What ever happens the Paterson region is the home of large quantities of minerals that will be mined. Telfer is a massive piece of kit and infrastructure that would cost a hell of a lot of money to reproduce, so it is very valuable as a central processing hub. "If" GGP become eventual owners of Telfer plus Havieron than I am sure GGP will maximise its use and sign agreements with many nearby deposits to process their ore. It is all pure speculation which we say day after day. We are all just passengers in any event.

GGP operates in Australia, so have you seen the gold price in AUD? At all time highs.

Another view is if you went to the shop and you were offered a discount, you'd be happy to buy the item. If you believe in GGPs future then today you are being offered a discount price.... two for one, three for one, or whatever ratio you feel is appropriate for GGPs future value. Investing is a game of psychology. It is why a lot of private investors lose because they sell at lows and buys at highs.

Newcrest have invested over half a billion Aussie dollars into Telfer plus Havieron the past 3 years. The conclusion that a shut down is the next step sounds a little silly.

Shaun’s outlined his thoughts on 3 different scenarios and shutting down was not one of them.

ASX wants minimum 20cents per share. Why list now at 3 year lows?

Also we don’t have a clear pathway for our future right now so how do you sell that to new Aussie shareholders?

We need Newmont to decide what they’re doing with Telfer.

Cross listing you idiot, not dual listing. Take your FUD and shove it. Shaun clearly stated he is awaiting the Newmont decision before making his next move. He cannot prepare a prospectus for the ASX currently as they are too many unknowns, so it is difficult to sell GGP to the ASX audience currently. He needs a clear pathway before the ASX listing document can be finalised, hence 2024 for the cross listing is just being sensible. Nothing more and nothing less. All the conjecture on this place is just pure speculation. We will only know GGPs next move once Newmont reveal their hand on what is being kept and what is being divested.

...so this Wall Street Silver interview piqued by interest. Early into the interview he predicts the gold price to be USD $2,500 by end of April 2024 for the reasons he explains (4th minute). Then he says USD$5,000 by end April 2025. Crikey of this actually comes to pass the share price for GGP and all other goldies should go nuts.
