The Money of Mine video I shared discussed HZM. Thought to look at their SP and what's happened..... in summary a massive CAPEX blowout, almost double their last estimate, now about $1billion USD. SP down 98% in less than 6 months. Also they are in Brazil, not Australia. And nickel not gold, the nickel price has fallen off a cliff due to Indonesia flooding the market with nickel.

So for me this highlights that GGP having Telfer up the road fully constructed and waiting for ore, plus Newmont funding 70% of Havieron is a blessing!! This is a massive win and hedge for GGP in an inflationary world.

In one of Shaun's interviews, potentially with Liam, they discussed his resume and roles prior to GGP. Shaun did mention that in one role he disagreed with the Board and/or Mgmt, potentially an ethical issue or something, and decided to resign. Perhaps IOT should listen to Shaun's last few interviews to find that discussion.

More importantly, what about the here and now. That matters most for us shareholders. Also, GGP is not run by Shaun and only Shaun. There is a Board and Management structure where decisions are made by an experienced team, some of the best in Australia.

Dip...... makes me wonder what Newmont have budgeted for during 2024 ref: the Newcrest assets. Budgets are best set at the start of the year and the market would expect it, so I am curious. My employer is American using a calendar year as their financial year, and budgets are normally finalised in February. So makes me wonder if Newmont follow the same cadence.

Hey Fred - of course the Havieron gold mine project is "going ahead", why would it not be. Aquifers are all over the world, underground, everywhere. So I am sure the engineers are well versed at dewatering so the decline can continue.

If the Havieron JV has decided to recommence the decline I am sure Shaun will share that news, as it is a good bit of news.

You only have to listen to Shaun's interviews from two weeks ago for the "latest". It is in both Newmont's and GGP's interests to get this project completed and earning revenue ASAP.

The next Town Hall should be a good time to update us all via RNS and then in person.

Perhaps send GGP an email to their investor relations?

That is a very good question(s) to ask Shaun at the town hall, what is the spend to date by Newcrest on the Juri JV and what is the intended spend in 2024

Awesome. GGP is always engaging with shareholders, it’s great. Many many companies are quite the opposite.

When?

Shaun and crew have done well, glad you mentioned it, as GGP likely would not exist if left to Gervaise. Judas ran to the hills with his loot and left GGP to die on the vine.

Many many companies all over the world have suffered large share price losses since the Covid highs. Luckily GGP should recover a great deal of these paper losses, given what we know in to come. Lassonde and his research makes sense for a reason.

Agree the share price fall has been upsetting, but it is not GGP specific. From Newmont all the way down the pecking order to the juniors, most gold companies are down since Jan'2021.

Goes to show anyone suggesting they know GGP or Havieron is on Newmont's radar for purchase is a load of nonsense. If a leak occurred the share price would have bolted northward, not stayed here.

As Dip has said multiple times, the upcoming Newmont shareholder update is not a given that Newmont's plans for Havieron/Telfer will be announced. We wait and see.
