Telfer will be sold as a going concern. Not being closed down.

Agree Timber. I also think GGPs Board have mulled over "what if" should Newmont look to divest Telfer and Havieron. Shareholders have asked Shaun the same several times as well.

"Is Newmont just looking to get out of Australia?" - Cadia is in NSW. Boddington is in WA. Tanami is in NT. So no they are no leaving Australia.

"Newmont have had months don't tell me they don't know what's next." - Newmont intends to divest. They won't know who is interested to buy it though do they. This will take months to sort out. Facts.

Grizzle the outcome will not be the same day as Newmont announce their intention for Telfer. This will take months to sort out, whatever that outcome will be.

Shaun had to say that even if Newmont had advised them of their plans, because Shaun cannot front run the market.

The various JVs Newmont have in the Paterson will end I suppose, Antipa has a JV with Newmont.

Wyloo is our major backer. They will be very interested in this.

Remember Callum saying "win win" if the Havieron JV remains as is, or, Newmont look to sell the asset and we buy it.

I gather the Juri JV will also end

No doubt Shaun was already made aware of this decision by Newmont before the market annoucement, hence his Town Hall for the 5th March. Makes sense now.

GGPs current market cap is £360million. So 3 times that to 21p = £1,080mill (£1bill). That is a good outcome if GGP can get back to £1bill again. Let's not kid ourselves with silly statements that mean a market cap out of this world, and no way comparable to ASX listed peers with multiple 100% owned mines. The latest GGP presentation has a comparison to other ASX gold companies. £1bill would make us comparable to De Grey Mining.

"My personal preference would be a full buy out of GGP for anything over 80p per share (£1 would be nicer)."

Crikey....... ya know the share price is 7p. You'd never go and buy a house at 10 times it's current listed price would you. People we need to get real here and get down from the clouds.

GGP needs to get through this year and tick off all major milestones - DFS, DTM, ASX listing, confirm when first revenue will commence. Hopefully a string of positive milestone achievements will push the SP back above 20pence. This seems more realistic to me. Any offer to buy our 30% of Havieron before these milestones could mean an offer far below our wishes.

Given the constant disappointing drill results from the other tenements I am not expecting another HAD005. So for me the share price is based on Havieron and what we can achieve there.

The Money of Mine boys were very scathing as well, worth a watch if people have time. The video is time stamped.
