Another day the same old BS on here. To reiterate… why hold shares if you do not believe in the future of GGP?

If you believe dilution etc is going to ruin your investment, why haven’t you sold before hand ?

What if Newmont receives other bids.... as reported in the mainstream media. Newmont is not a behemoth for nothing. I am expecting this process to take some time before the outcomes are known. Fingers crossed for GGP for the win!

Agree with comments here to expect this to take time. This is a major transaction for GGP if it does buy Telfer + Hav. Lots of ducks to line up for it to occur. And from Newmont's side they will listen to all offers put forth. Agree that any potential buyer will want access to the data room in order to calculate a fair offer price. This means the process could take weeks or months. Nothing we can do but wait. Shaun is here so we can ask him questions, which he can attempt to answer from a GGP view, however he is not privy to the offers received by Newmont unless they are made public.

It is a nerve racking time for us all. Ideally we want Telfer + 100% of Havieron, mostly funded via the banks, knowing that revenue is immediate via the Telfer mine operations.

Tildo nobody should be advising the status of negotiations etc and ruin the process. Questions will be asked at the TH about what’s the position for buying etc etc but Shaun can’t tell us all if it jeopardises the process. Go to the TH and ask him yourself. But nobody should be negative because GGP isn’t RNS every step they take.

China doesn’t export gold, it only imports gold from the silly west. All gold mined in China stays in China. The Kinesis Money YouTube account have discussed this at various times.

GGP operates only within Australia so the only currency that matters is revenue and costs converted to AUD.

Ignoring the operations, fundamentally a share price is a function demand and supply for shares. During 2020 demand for GGP outstripped supply massively hence the share price surge. Same as been happening for the magnificent 7 shares the last year or two.

So for me, GGP buys Telfer / Hav to become and overnight miner and substantial share buying can come from:

- the GDX managed fund

- ASX pension monies, fund managers and general investors once listed on ASX

This would add “new” demand that should see 2020 again.

Agree Jerry. Exciting opportunity. We are at the bottom of the gold market cycle so when they turns up the outcomes can be unreal. Gold over $2100 is what the “experts” say is needed to bring in the fundies money. We aren’t too far away. We just need to break 2100 and maintain it and then push up towards 2500. Newmont, GGP etx should benefit immensely. Shaun needs to work for GGP to buy Telfer because we’d be leveraged to the gold price for real. I bet our Board is frothing at the mouth to make it happen. Look at their resumes. They don’t want to sit idle within an explorer. They want the big time like they’re used to.

If Shaun and company can get this share price anywhere up to say 30pence (allowing for 1/3 dilution since the all time high) we’d be very happy. Market cap would represent a miner at that price, which we can be by taking over Telfer plus Hav.
