Not a possible bear market a then that's caused this to crash then. Remains a mystery! Suppose we will never know.

Its a fair point risky biz made and something I included in my bear case against the Doc a while back. I was dismissed as less eloquent, but here we are anyway, the share sits at 62p.

Absolutely lamentable today down another 3%. When it was volatile at least it would go up and down a bit. Can't remember the last time in finished up? Is this the perfect storm brewing in a bear market?

I see on CPI board similar rumblings about lack of trading updates etc after AGM. This sector might be whipping boys, but I can't help but wonder if they are bringing it on themselves.

Appears to be no fault of Galliford, nor I imagine significant to the SP falling recently, but a shutdown on site one would assume will result in payment delays?

I think around this level there is some potential for high risk, short term investing, if the price moves to 75-80p that could be a nice trade. I wouldn't call that an investment though, more a speculation.

I am sure we had this "it'll turn soon" "time to top up" and such like at 100, 90, 80, 70. Seems pretty insensitive to those who are looking at huge losses.

I think it would be wise to delve into how some of the other contracts, as well as Aberdeen are performing.

Good to see the big hitters are back and out to bat in support of this share that has crashed 40% since refinancing was announced.

Unfortunately the "good news" is restricted to contract wins which are required as an absolute minimum to service the debt. Carillion had an enviable and stunning forward order book.... Meanwhile, the silence on trading performance and debt repayment continues.

FTSE is retracing from its record highs last month. If it continues to fall back toward 6800 mark then I am afraid that VOD (being a FTSE 100 component) has much further to fall.

The trend is your friend, thats why last week when it failed to break that (meaningless) 188p resistance I called it to drop against the prevailing hope it would push through 190. Feels like a trap, the problem now is whether to keep putting in to bring the escape point down lower, or is that throwing good after bad?

I share some of your thoughts Char, would throw in the actions, or inaction or just basic indecision of the the clowns at BOE who do seem intent on crashing the markets. Would not want to have too many long positions in the current climate.
