Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Scinv.... I agree with Doc .... it's turning into the Scinv Board..... you're fast approaching 50 posts a day.. some are great, but most are irrelevant ... it's putting me off coming here at all... ... so it must be putting off everyone else too.
Matt.... I don't think the UK Government took their eye off the ball with Synairgen, I think they deliberately threw the ball away after they found out what the cost was..... instead concentrating on off the shelf treatments that cost a few pence.
This won't be an issue in America of course, as their health system is entirely different.
Oil.... I agree, I also personally know someone too who caught Covid twice (6 months apart).
Matt... I also think we could even be days away from some significant news..... the after hours trades have been extraordinary in the last couple of weeks, together with the big dip last week followed by Friday afternoon's surge.... made more pronounced against the background carnage of the equities market that day.... and TT's downward chart analysis. I have followed Tornadotony in the past and his analysis is reliable (two out of two of his tips gave me 40 & 50% in just a few weeks, he also saved me diving into another far too early... and it's still dropping!).
Splodge2001..... I don't think Extavia is the same drug, it's the MS drug, isn't it 1b not 1a? I also thought it was injected?
I got the impression that both injected Extavia, and inhaled SNG, were being trialled in France.
Someone will confirm on here.
Tornado..... Thank you.... it was great to have you post so regularly yesterday. My only question when this share price drops is 'is there a problem with the trial?'. Confirming that it's just market jitters, should make everyone relax, it does me anyway. Great that so many people managed to top up, a shame to see a few bail.... more so for them.
Tornadotony..... absolutely. Apart from which this share has always, always drifted in between news.... two weeks before Phase 2 results the daily drop was pretty brutal, you could top up for 31-32p right up until the Thursday before manic Monday (+500%). And that was the lowest they had been for four months.
I did top up today at 168-169.... not sure if that's the lowest, but in a couple of weeks it won't matter.
PS: Thanks for the Pensana tip.
I remember in early May, there was one poster who was livid about how long Phase 2 was taking, and was adamant that the epidemic would be over by the summer (2020) and that SNG has missed the boat, and so he sold at a loss.
We can see cases dropping.... but we are still in Lockdown..... I think we have all become so accustomed to the whole world being in lock down, that we are forgetting what a huge thing still being in lockdown is.... we are sadly a long, long way back to normal.
Besides that, even if we miraculously didn't need to use a single dose of SNG this year, the Stockpiling potential here is huge. How many treatments do you think each country will want to stockpile in case this happens again?
For me, stockpiling has always been the comfort blanket for this share. We don't have to physically have millions of doses on the shelf to take future orders of millions of doses.
IMO, there is only one small risk, and that is Phase 3 not replicating Phase 2. As long as it does, I'm backing Numis's bull case of £50 a share, by next year.
Indeed woodstock.... not to mention E_V_A and Sylvia, and a few other old ladies names, can't remember them all, think Nolupus has a long list. Anyone who was invested in IMM would have a few unsavoury words to say about him.
Well done Tiger, that's an exciting win for you..... I was also quickly in and out of Kanabo and MGC ..... it's a bit painful to watch them soaring now.... but no one ever went bust making a small profit. I don't invest in anything long term unless I've properly researched it and you just don't have the time to do that with every share.
Synairgen, however, is one share I have researched to death, as have most of the LTH's here, and I have been in it for nearly a year. I wouldn't risk waiting until it drops to 173-5, as it might never get there. Once news comes, you won't get a chance to buy at three times that.... and there are just too many bits of news on their way.
Dave.... your responsibility to declare your own capital gains tax. But if you don't they may discover it via H&L.
If you haven't bought these shares within an ISA or SIPP, which you could still move them to by selling and buying, you have a capital gains allowance of £12k a year I believe. If you have made more than that just sell them in different tax years.
