Clearly there is a massive distinction between the old and new bod, the half-yearly figures show this, the issue, and I think what ‘annu26’ is implying is.... does anyone still care? and if so why is the SP still static? I don’t think anyone can answer that question, but what we do know is that the company have transformed and are heading in the right direction, patience is a virtue, my advice, put this stock in the bottom draw and revisit it at end of their financial year when the bod either break-even or over achieve our/their expectations.

@GG57.... this is the most advanced project in the region to date, and sided by the biggest potential partner in the industry, in my mind no comparison to past/present scenarios should be made, especially under guidance of new government white papers advocating need and offering tax incentives, the goal posts have been enlarged to say the least.

@GG57.... great 40th post btw, how about you do this.... calm down on the fearmongering by leaving the speculation out. If it’s your attempt to buy in lower than this is as good as a entry point you will get (strong support at 6.9).... if you’ve opened ‘short position’ then you sir are a grade a dipstick!

@Lindon.... at this stage the company is only seeking an ‘in principle’ approval which they’ve unquestionably secured, especially since they’ve progressed discussions to workshop which I’m assuming is for tariff approvals, they have always been forward thinking like this. The tariff aspect may take a little longer but that shouldn’t stop newsflow of JDA and loan restructuring or even tariff from reaching us before the month is out.

@CF.... on the subject of the loan restructure, worthwhile noting from that Podcast that Hanno said (8:38): ‘the focus on the company right now is the project development, the loan is essentially an unnecessary distraction, as an interim step the restructure is an attractive package’ Keys words being ‘unnecessary distraction’ and ‘interim step’.... need I say more!

In line with my earlier message, this is what I sent them: I am a shareholder, and have been for some time. Myself amongst many other private investors are becoming somewhat concerned that shareholder interest is not being accounted for. I say the aforementioned as the past RNS’s have provided no figures for investors to base future earnings by nor have the updates been regular, as a result the actions made from your media department or bod is adversely impacting the share price, we would like to see momentum in news and of a more descriptive nature to gain traction here, we do not feel this is being delivered effectively at present.

Is anyone in contact with the Bod? If not it would be good to ping out an email to them using the below link under ‘Investor relations’ suggesting that as Pi’s we are growing concerned by the lack of news being released from them, and that the absence of update to the market we feel is not in shareholder best interest. I notice a lot of mention is made about corruption in Afica and ‘anything can happen’.... I would hole heartedly disagree, people fail to appreciate the numerous licences already obtained, licences governed by regulatory bodies who have examined every facet of the proposal to deliver scheme of this nature, objectives which are backed by numerous government objectives and initiatives, one being the Southern Africa Power Pool Plan. The bod have done extremely well to deliver the milestones they have and I can’t fault them. Another point to note, I’ve just read snippets from EdM’s presentation to ESWG dated 2016, NCCL getting a mention by them for proposed power plant in Tete under ‘Expected Priority Generation Projects’. @callit.... thank you for that, I guess it’s just a waiting game now, expecting most of the revenues generated from those contracts leading to this period to be disclosed which should hopefully show company at ‘break-even’

When’s the next set of accounts due? Dates anyone? Any timeline if activity to look forward to?
