After a great run and two very decent price targets, profit takers who were under water have found the break even or in profit levels that allowed them to get out or at the very least enabled them to set stop losses that they had not in place the first time round

The reversal from £3 in my opinion has now opened up an opportunity for the shorts to find the exit and institutions to get an entry on the new 250 status with passive funds getting their opportunity to get in.

We may not hover around these prices for long. the RNS flow in recent times has validated the SP rise and with future positive news flow CWR will be £5 plus soon enough

Mind the stops as they say because this fishing trip is filling the institutions coffers

Good to see us moving up to challenge the 200DMA. Traders love a good chart so hopefully once we clear the former resistance point we will see an increase in volume.

Everyone had a great chance to load up sub 50p, then 60’s -now we are having a good strong move towards the mid 60’s and I still doubt the shorts have started to close.

Another positive RNS to take us up to the 80p zone would certainly put them on notice

For weeks we have seen the SP manipulated down on limited volume. Now we have large round number buying and we are locked in a tight range.

The manipulation on Aim is criminal and the sooner we list on a better regulated exchange the better. Talk about opening the door for accumulation to those in the know ahead of a pay day.

Frustrating at worst but at least it opened the door for the rest of us to get another bite of the apple

Break through that level and a sharp spike higher should follow. Zac’s note on CwR very similar to our current situation.

Breakout to upper bands of the annual trading range would be very nice.

Multiple catalysts incoming

Sorry knotagain wasn’t having a go. I’m a long time share holder here and my only concern with UK companies and AIM in particular is that it us the shareholders whom inevitably get shafted by CeO’s who get the golden goose whilst we get scraps.

Unfortunately for most of us the dreams of a £5’er a share dreams are just that.

This playing hard to get as someone put it is most likely a smokescreen for the reality of what’s going on in the background. A cheeky bid in the range of the 52 week highs is probably more realistic c £1.65

Don’t get me wrong I’ll be happy but it won’t be life changing

The shorts, the fomo or the end of the quarterly payment share sale.

Hopefully the latter. The next week could see us squeeze back to mid 60’s ahead of any news flow

I fully expect an onslaught of ambulance chasers who have been sitting on the sidelines watching the slump.

Way oversold now and even our more pessimistic commentators whether they are short or just playing the bashing game to get a low entry level will all be chomping at the bit.

One thing has almost been guaranteed with Avacta over the past 5 years is the bounce of the low forties back above a pound.

With the pipeline coming and diagnostics sales news to come the catalysts plus the FOMO will give the traders what they are looking for.

Will the short close? How many more opps do they get in the low 40’s

I think personally shorts risk reward potential is not worth extending. As a result watching the 50k trades coming through over the past two weeks I would suggest the CLN shares are being sold down.

If it is the CLN then the company should announce ASAP after completion so that the uncertainty is removed.

Relief rally will commence then ahead of the science day and potential announcements around diagnostics sales

Risk took high for spread betters to allow longs. It allows them to control the narrative of share price suppression. Imagine a large tranche of long leverage positions that needed to be covered by them buying stock when they are probably helping facilitate the short side

Traders are playing the stock within a range. Join them and buy at the low end when the opportunities arise. One of these mornings news will break and the board will be full of regrets of top ups missed

Most of us are heavily loaded up. Appetite to keep adding is waining generally making it easier for the shorts to take us down

Added another 8k in the SIPP. At this point I either work to 65 or retire at 55. 6 years to go.

It’s a leap of faith but after walking with this share for five years there is no chance I am going to let the shorters dictate my investment decision.

Top up opportunities are a regular occasion with Avacta. One of these days it either gets a cheeky takeover offer in which case I want my average to be as low as possible or a commercial contract is announced that validates the optimism and secures a significantly higher takeover premium

One thing for sure is that short covering and fomo one of these days is going to be great to watch

After dropping the price to clear out spreadex I expect that the price will trend back to 6p over the coming weeks.

No shortage of traders taking advantage of the move over the past month.

Haven’t sold any but this is giving me another chance to add. Investment horizon in this has to be years

Market makers happy to drop the price and trigger stop losses whilst gathering stock all the way.

It’s great that some have traded the stock and raised a few quid. However there are those of us who averaged down significantly into the weakness who trust the story and the science. This recovery is just that.

In an illiquid market shorters pushed the price lower and others had stop losses hit or simply lost the appetite to take further losses.

As the recovery continues and momentum shifts those who are short will gradually cover and some others may jump in.

Ultimately the path back above £1 will be punctuated with profit taking and de-risking for some, however most will be here for the future and will look forward to the valuation re-rating higher

Hopefully the trolls move on and the company issues timely news flow to keep them away as we progress
