I agree entirely with the last 2 posts - I've been in PHE for years and have traded them using surplus funding as & when available.
Just a simple strategy buying in the dips and selling on the highs as and when they appear - I've never been 'out' and have managed to increase my holding considerably - I don't have an average anymore to the main PHE stock I hold as they're now a free ride. I'm not boasting, I've made lots of errors along the way but just agreeing with your point that selling / trading is'nt always about short-term financial gains, getting in or getting out - you just can't tell .
I'm not sure who yellow is? He sounds like a bit of a dip stick to me and think I must have consigned him to ignore a long time ago but it seems to me you guys are forever 'trading' Reason for Rants

The upgrade to the existing oil sands plant will include a commercial
scale demonstration trial of MSAR® technology from Quadrise Fuels International plc
to produce over 600 bbls of power grade MSAR®
. Petroteq, Greenfield and Quadrise
believe that the use of MSAR® technology could potentially add significant value to the
oil produced from Petroteq’s existing oil sands plant.
Petroteq is also investigating other options to improve pricing on production. Plant
output can be directed towards the production of asphalt during summer months,
when it commands premium pricing for road construction.
It's good to think that, with a bit of luck, after all these years that I might just be able to afford a 5 star funeral :-)
Please excuse me for being excited but having held & added TOMCO for years - I've got one question!
WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE?
WAKE UP . . . .THIS IS HAPPENING NOW
all these piddling sells are doing my brain in!
1. Patented oil recovery technology; 10,000 bbl oil produced to date
2. Innovative technology underpins low facility capex, estimated at $18.5K per daily
bbl for 5,000 bpd modular production train
3. Low production costs, estimated to average no more than $25-$30/bbl dependent
upon scale of production
4. Netback margins between $12-$17/bbl at $42 WTI
5. Environmentally benign, no wastewater and no tailings pond
6. Expected resource life >20 years with no decline in daily production
7. Estimated EBITDA of $28 mm at 5,000 bpd; $60 mm at 10,000 bpd
8. Partnership with Valkor Engineering to mitigate Engineering, Procurement &
Construction risk
9. Potential to license technology for a combination of upfront fee & ongoing
royalty compensation

TheOldBee - with regard to your 'reservations' and you did ask for comments.
My old dad, who did very well on the stock exchange in his day, had a saying (never heard anyone else use it) but seems relevant:-
"The excellent is the enemy of the good" - So there may be room for improvement but this is as good as it gets for now, for starters and by all means let the next generation improve on it!
I'm happy not to have any reservations and see this as a giant step in the right direction.
but couldn't find my £500 top up !!!!!

Their thousands of share holders who don't wish to post. Why have a go when they do .Who do you think you are to criticise them ,foolish person.
Hey Pigfase - read my post again (Mon 19:50) I quoted Salinger and the first para in my post are his words - not mine, like I've quoted yours above - I disagreed with the obnoxious content of his post but I really shouldn't have bothered.
Yet another "long term holder" appears who`s been reading this board regularly, amazing! I always find it funny how these "long term holders" appear suddenly out of the mists of time after staying silent through the various ups and downs the company`s been through. I also wonder what motivates them to finally speak . . . . .
I'm a 'long term holder' and the motivation in this instance is reading a self opinionated condemnation from a kn*b who doesn't post anything that isn't already out there and hasn't the right to criticize anyone.
Hi Everyone - Can some kind soul give me a brief rundown on the proposed share 'split' - I bought in about 2 months ago but my Mum was taken seriously ill not long after and I haven't had time to keep up with events. Got a pleasant surprise when I checked my portfolio today and had a quick look but couldn't find any quick and obvious detail. Many thanks in advance and will check in for reply (if I get one :-) next time I'm home.
Kind regards McDoog
Thanks KS - worked it out for myself eventually but got a bit of shock when my watchlist TOMCO pages were different but thanks anyway.
I bought my first TOMCO shares yesterday and have just noticed there is another TOM (TOMCO.GB.PLC) on lse with different trades page etc., my buy was definitely here as I just tracked it down but I had been looking at the other trading page via a watch list - currently same share price but all totally different trades and trade history, and a slight difference to web page layout with less info pagers than the norm - can anyone give me a brief explanation? Thanks
Personally I like the concept of partnering these 2 related shares - so as TOMCO just tanked down to 0.45p I got off the fence bought some - I've also managed to get my QFI average down. I know there's still a way to go for everything related to QFI but I'm reasonably happy with the odds and besides, as with most LTH's I'm used to waiting!
I think you're correct PrepH - Valkor & Quadrise are still in early discussions which is probably why Tomco shares have nose dived after the initial euphoria but it all sounds very promising although, as you say, testing could be a long ways off yet.
Has anyone bought into Tomco? I must admit that I'm tempted considering all the prospects plus it's hit 6p + 12 months ago and the recent spike took it to nearly 2p and it now looks like going sub 0.6p - If the tests are successful it'll be a big thing for all 3 companies - the RNS says they have yet to resolve licencing issues as QFI has the MoU with Valkor but not with Valkor & Tomco, who combined are 'Greenfield' for the Utah project - so there's still I's to dot and Ts to cross but I'm watching with interest.
Don't know anything about 1.2p warrants, maybe someone else could put some light on that for you but as I recall the last warrants were for iro 7p issued at last placing - a way to go yet but looking more optimistic now.
Last -placing was 4p Oct '19
What's mind blowing about this is the fact that there are 25 countries with an estimated 1.2 trillion bbls of recoverable oil using Petroteq technology -- all potential licence sales and there is 45 billion bbls in the 3 states around their base in Utah -
See orslega posts yesterday and check out the Petroteq Vision link
QFI certainly do have the knack of getting your juices flowing! Maybe this time next year Rodney?
Fantastic video orslega! You must be well happy to be invested in Petroteq. It says that there are 1.2 trillion BBls recoverable oil world wide using their technology where previously it's been unrecoverable - as you say well worth a view, thanks McD
Furrylugs - I made the cardinal mistake of getting too attached, that's all - QFI has a long history of well informed posters, excellent researchers and a product concept second to none - not their fault but the anticipation was never matched in terms of company performance - with ref to the TOMCO RFI nothing will ever surprise me again with QFI, anything's possible but I do wish them well despite all the history.
Thanks for that Dustofnations - a very interesting read and it is as I remembered but things have obviously moved on a whole load since then - I recall everyone being excited about the new extraction process then and it's good to see that it proved to be very viable and that QFI could now put the icing on the cake and have a significant part to play in the end product - maybe i'll watch a bit more often now?
MG85 - it's been a long time since I've read anything about Tomco but I do recall that there was some 'deal' on the horizon a few years back involving neighbouring land, it's owners and new/ground breaking techniques for oil extraction there - at the time it all sounded very plausible, exciting but a long ways off - being lazy, do you happen to know if this a continuation of that prospect?
I still retain some QFI, hopefully enough to recoup some of the losses I've incurred with them over the years if they come good - I've always had faith in the product but the QFI journey took it's toll on me over the years and they are now strictly bottom drawer for me - here's hoping that they cross the finishing line this time and get that elusive contract.
