bboffer - just bought 101800 @ 2.95p and looking down trade lists seems to be far more buys than sells.
Anyway I'm thinking Bloe's time has come and 2021 will be a good year.
I'm a happy old bunny today as it's the first time I've ever had a true 10 bagger -
but check this out - it doesn't get better than this

Thank you for all your informative and encouraging posts on here - I suspect Yellow has turned Green
Happy Christmas one & all - I'm off for a rest!
Dognobbler (interesting name?) and Toby - I feel compelled to change my handle to McDog!
Woof Woof - in total agreement there - too much Tapa talk can make one slightly Barking!
Seriously though, I do hope this Utah opportunity comes good for us all, I'm convinced that if it does only good will come from it and if anything else squeezes over the line - well that will be great but i'll be happy with just a start to any form of commercialisation.
Keep safe & keep fingers crossed & GLA
Tobythedog (nice name!) I'm taking the view that unlike with Maersk QFI will not be involved with any particular 'end user' and will therefore be paid some kind of fee or % against the converted oil that they produce. Again this assumption of mine might be too simple and void of detail but I think that's the case. If so the Greenfield project will in effect be an oil supplier to various outlets i.e. will sell their oil to whoever - there has to be a market for this or else they wouldn't have spent years trying to find the oil-from-sand solution that they have now developed. I'm also under the impression that the oil that will be will be used is low end stuff that is transformed by the MSAR process which is what all the fuss is about and is where QFI 'hang their hat' as their area of expertise. So having no specific end user isn't the issue here IMO it's the opportunity to actually produce a quality product and get it out there 'for use' that is significant. One would hope that the tests will prove viability and then the chicken will actually follow the egg for once.
If you frequent the Tapatalk QFI discussion board you will see that all the technical stuff has been discussed to the Nth degree by people much smarter than I and the overwhelming consensus of opinion is that MSAR is the 'dogs blx' and all we need is an end user to provide confidence - I see Utah as this type of opportunity precisely as there is no specific end user involved but it will be out there, in use in the public domain for the first time, i.e. it could be the first step that we've been unable to achieve to date.
If I'm wrong and have read this incorrectly I will be disappointed - as everyone is keen to add these days please do your own research as I'd hate to mislead anyone.
Hi Indigo - I've not been following the detail as much as I would have liked to - I've lots of personal reasons for that but my limited and simple understanding is that bringing MSAR into line with Pertoteq's oil from sand technology allows for a superior end product that Petroteq sees a market for and or there is an existing market for. I do know that QFI was approached and that the advantages of using MSAR were discussed - and my understanding was that these benefits were deemed to be considerable, clear and obvious - hence the forthcoming tests.
I'm sorry I can't do better than that - I am really past my sell by date and don't punish my self with too much detail anymore, I've held these shares for years added on occasion and even bought Tomco this year because I did loads of research on them years ago - just so I could say I've put my money where my mouth is.
There will be someone out there who will give you a better answer I'm sure. Good luck.
Only time will tell if my words prove to be wise Dpsandison - I don't think I've ever levied any criticism of the BOD but do admit to have been frustrated on more than one occasion and if there is any wisdom in my post it is purely that I feel that this time the BOD will be assisted over that elusive line or wont have to try and sell MSAR if the Tests are successful as the immediate benefits are already agreed in principle - too simple, maybe but it's how I see it.
I've just been reading recent posts and have to admit it's a bit like Ground Hog Day again. This isn't a criticism, just an observation re the frustration and uncertainty that is the norm with QFI and as it has been at every stage of the MSAR journey since Maersk. . I'm an old man now and have for a long time been a 'sucker' for the MSAR concept, I initially thought I'd make loads of money while QFI was helping to save the world. The BOD's record of not being able to close a deal is a long and very detailed one and discussed by many but with no absolute or concrete reason ever published as to why? - just a lot of educated guesswork and hypothesis. I've never doubted the concept - the mystery of why no contracts remain and
I've come close but never turned my back on the share, as it does just need that first contract (imo) And, of course, it would just be my luck to throw the towel in just before that event!
So this isn't a ramp it's just my take on our current situation and I think that the Utah tests are the best opportunity we've ever had. What makes it the best is that if the tests are successful it solves that problem highlighted by Fyoz today "We have additives and patents, but we need a partner to make the product." - Maybe it's not quite that simple but for the first time I feel that we hold the key to success with the Utah oil/sand Petroteq/Tomco / Greenfield scenario and that other opportunities and contracts will follow.
We're dealing with a project here where everyone concerned wants us to succeed - that's a good thought to hold onto!

Loved Bombay's post @17.22
"still have no idea now ( how many shares I bought;) and I genuinely thought they were 42p when I bought them."
tickled my sense of humour - must have been a really good day the day he did that trade :- ) ( smiley face)
I actually got myself an average today - previously on a free ride but couldn't resist the mutual enthusiasm here- so I sold an old 'bottom drawer' dog and upped my total EQT - like Bombay, I'm not really counting anymore - this share has become fun and of no concern for me anymore ~ imo it's only going up from here, positive news on every horizon - so many positives
Hey boyporche - try reading the post - Lionel quite clearly states ".. I have, against his advice, decided to hold the postion on the off chance a miracle happens... "
"we are just in the "doom" phase of the cycle which will change and then we go off again"
No lightjaw - we're in the doom phase AGAIN and for the Umteenth time, and a brisk walk, as you put it, is a ridiculous comment.
I've long suspected that there's something fundamentally wrong at QFI or with MSAR because something so good should almost sell itself but there are smarter people than I who have been through all the technology and have sided with the company, as I have, for years - take a look at their independent TAPATALK members only QFI discussion board and the off- shoot Quorom that examines every development and analyses every detail of every BOD action -
"Quorum is a collaboration by the independent QFI shareholder community, with the objective of gathering and analysing relevant and interesting open sources of information, such as news, investor calls, conferences, and publicity."
Where else do you get that degree of commitment/support/research etc? All impressive stuff but years on still no cigar!
There's more than just me who can't just sell up and go for a walk - I believed in this product and was heavily invested before Maersk and yes I do get annoyed and frustrated and after so many failures to close any form of deal - so selling now and further personal financial loss and a cup of tea funnily isn't that attractive.
Though not without it's own significant group complications - I see Utah as being the most realistic chance for QFI as everyone involved needs it to work - beyond that we have no commercial history and based on past BOD performance I hold no expectations for KSA / Kuwait or similar huge projects. . . they /we need some sort of commercial deal, no matter how small, that demonstrates MSAR in use everyday - so imo they'd better get their fingers out now and maybe give those samples the hurry up.
You joke about we are doomed but who in their right minds is going to throw more money at this? - it's been a long story and we might be closer to the last chapter than you think and |Covid isn't helping - so don't be too light-hearted.
I think that was just a bit of sarcasm Indigo, either way I'll not be participating

for all our great and loyal shareholders."

. . . . . . . . . . . before they die!
46G - Disillusionment and QFI go hand in glove but I hope that this deal comes good - it'll be my last throw of the dice - having to wait that bit longer is the way it's always been for years now and can't personally see any future for MSAR if Q1 passes without a result - What's there to talk about that hasn't been discussed or demonstrated hundreds of times before to so many Countries & Companies? I think Utah is where QFI could succeed, the potential is enormous and if it doesn't I don't think Morocco will open the flood gates and I for one won't be around to listen to the reasons for waiting another year - Groundhog Day again, no thanks.
It's beyond me to understand why folk would be selling TOM now with so much potential so close to being tested.
I know a lot, if not everything, depends on the success of the MSAR tests but imo the values of the majority of sells are so insignificant that these sellers must be desperate for cash - no other reason makes any sense to me.
Why invest in the first place only to get out before QFI have had their chance to make the difference?
If successful this will be highly significant to both QFI & TOMCO's future share price -
It's been a long wait but exciting times ahead and I'd say if you're in then hold
This is a joke - Yesterday I felt that holding on to these was the best option - well done those who sold yesterday and bought back at these levels in time to qualify for the share split - @ 150p now I feel like I've been mugged - having said that I'm confident that this only a short term disappointment and there's exciting times ahead
"That post by BluToff is by far the single most interesting post I've read on here since joining in August. It's good to hear the human story of people, much more interesting than the usual stuff."
Well daveness - I would normally agree with you - in fact there's plenty of folk who chat and enjoy exchanging experiences from all walks of life but I don't care to give any credence to anyone who attempts the character assassination on a normally civil and respected poster.
My objection was (and still is) that BlueToff was both rude and self opinionated and was so in the defence of a resident foul mouthed poster - I probably shouldn't have commented but if the likes of Dr Anomaly leave this site because of the abuse they get - then you'll only be able to read the likes of Yellow's exhilarating posts and of course BlueToff's who thinks that because he's read an interesting book he can call everyone else's intelligence into question.
You supporting his last post in isolation from the thread is mystifying to me but each to their own - I only visit here because I am an optimistic holder / supporter and am interested in PHE and nothing else -
I've had my say and now I'm out of this thread.
"I do not wish to hog this board"
Oh but you do and what a bore you are BlueToof!
After your infantile rant about Nom de plumes Saturday @13:22 you've done nothing but
You've now had the opportunity to show off your own intellect & intelligence and to prove to all that you are indeed worthy of the ignore button.
How did I get into PHE - 10 years ago I was lying on a . . . . . . .After all your jibes 'who's interested ?
Not me - activate ignore button.
Just had to chuckle at this:-
" Most people here are able to hide behind a pseudonym which gives no real clue to their standing
in the community, so it is difficult to know the level of intelligence . . . On the other hand we have persons who make no attempt to hide their level of intelligence, in fact their nom de plume is meant to suggest a higher standing in their community"
and so says BlueToff -
not even going to try to imagine what that de plume is meant to suggest ! Laughable
