Maybe Jupiter will be wanting to bank profits/offset losses by end of the tax year (5/4/22), which is also about when the next trading update will be ( which will demonstrate no need for a placement!). So March could/should be the turning point!?
The sp volatility from 9% to only 1.8% up, similar yesterday appears to be market manipulation to allow Jupiter to exit around 50p. Not happy that sp not allowed to rise much further, are the MM's involved with such a large exit, or am I just paranoid!? The good news is that if this continues then, as Bella says, at least Jupiter could be out in 1-2 weeks.
Avacta only have to notify a formal offer and the BOD’s response ( recommend or reject and why!). A hostile bid can only carry the day if sufficient shareholders call a EGM and a majority vote for the offer against the BOD’s advice!
Just remind everyone, Trinity attributed a value of £2.2 at a 10% chance of success on the Therapeutic side, prior to DE! That chance of success must be several
times higher given limited ill effects in humans so far!
"As LTH we can hope that timeline is wrong and they leave it too long. "
It will take quite awhile to close several million pounds worth of shorts, drip feeding out (buying under the radar) won't shift many and equally a few large buys not possible as it would boost the sp! Not sure how they get out relatively quickly without accepting a higher sp for say half of their shorts.
One reason that they don't share a high level of detail at the moment is that amateur biochemists would draw their own probably erroneous conclusions (good or bad)!! Also 4 patients/cycles are not a statistically significant number yet, however all indicators are positive and the Safety Committee have accepted that and approved a 50% DE.
Riesgo, I agree it would be good to have more detail, can only believe that it’s too early! However it was stated in the recent presentation slides that 4 patients have been dosed. That is the original 3 plus 1, apparently this 4th one is standard practice if the results of the first three are considered safe!
