Sdon, yes you have identified the enigma well enough, .....what is the purpose of these meetings?
Might be just as simple as raising the profile of the company to the larger investment community, driven by the new PR company possibly.
Not sure that II's would buy immediately, they will have their own internal investment committees to go through for approval first, so maybe a delay of a week or so!? However if they do then the buy order will be several million per II and that would move the sp.
The purpose might just be to raise awareness and potential with the hope that II’s will start to invest at this early stage and bolster the share price! If that happens then fine, but far better IMO is to give them some red meat to chew on, but it maybe not real data just good words like dramatic reduction in toxicity……you can see the potential…….I don’t need to / can’t spell it out just yet……..leading to a dramatic future/ spectacular return if you invest now!?
There are only 2 facts that we know:
1) there is 3 day roadshow.
2) the website was updated with “…..chemotoxin dramatically reduced….”
The rest is our interpretation of what might or not happen and why and when it would!
Through all of this I just want full disclosure within a month!
RD, surely AS can’t expect to raise capital below last raise at £1.2!? It’s in his interest to get the sp well above that; unless there are plans for fancy raising plans such as a premium placing, but II’s would require full disclosure to entertain that!
The whole thing seems weird to me, but can we assume we the lowly pi’s will get to know at least you next week!?
"Why else would they announce AVA3996 as the next Precision drug if AVA6000 wasn't going well?"
I am convinced that AV6000 trial is going well, however it might not have yet met the threshold of certainty/Analysis required (including passing the Safety Committee) to warrant a definitive statement just yet, as always.....shortly!
Comeonyou,
that supports Bella's view that an rns update could be after 3 days of meetings ( with each attendee signing a NDA to maintain radio silence) to allow full disclosure to the market by say Monday 7am!? So II's and PI's can action at the same time.
I just cannot believe that Avct would dare to even think it wise to attempt to raise capital at less than last raise at £1.20! They are not that desperate for cash right now, maybe in 6 mths time if limited LFT sales.
The investor meetings were organised about 3-4 weeks ago, AS would have known quite a lot at that point and would have judged that the PK data should be available (and passed through the Safety Committee, etc) for release. Why jump the gun with these meetings if nothing new to announce, wait until you are absolutely sure that data is available!?
"My own personal prediction for the next fortnight.
No significant RNS's.
However in the short to medium term I look forward to a SP rerate."
If not now then when!? What triggers a new statement to back up the website update (or is that it for now?). Do we have to wait til full conclusion of Ph1a before any rns!?
