Just as a comparison TYM are 17% down this morning...I think our mcap is currently slightly higher than theirs atm and I know which one I'd rather be in, especially when you look at where some of their financing is coming from imo

Just been through all the trades today including NEX and there are:

11,177,909 shares BOUGHT
Versus
4,742,605 shares SOLD

Yet despite this we are still flat on the bid/ask.
Get the feeling the MMs are trying to hold this back for a reason but they won't be able to for much longer if the buying continues

A 2019 soil sampling programme has more than doubled
the known extent of mineralisation, identified new vein
sets and linked numerous historical shafts and adits.
• Historic geological report identifies seven subparallel
lodes, prospective for Au-Ag-U mineralisation in both the
quartz veining and the surrounding altered vein selvedge.
• The strike extent of the Mineral Jackpot target is now
>2km and includes the Silver Bell and Silver Moon mines.
Plans are (1) bulk sampling of historic soil heaps to be
leached for early production of gold and silver (2) a
trenching programme for further delineation of vein
structures and to define drill pad positions so as to generate
a Mineral Resource Estimate (3) drilling under current permit.

Chisler...for us that have been invested for a while it's pretty black and white what direction the company are going to move in....it's all about the gold right now. For those that have just invested or thinking of investing then there is no shortage of information for you to trawl through via either the RNS's, the company website, Twitter or even LinkedIn!
And yes the highest gold sample yielded a result of 95 grams per tonne!
The past is the past as are the previous management which are also the past. We now have a very competent person running the show...Brian Hall who has vast experience in the oil and gas and mining sector's. He was part of a team that brought first oil online in the north sea at the Argyll field.
Since Nov last year management not only communicate much more openly to shareholders but are also very closely aligned to shareholders with a combined holding of over 10% of the company. Brian Hall himself has invested a decent chunk of his own money into the company which speaks volumes.
And yes while the focus is on the gold there is also the potential at anytime for a JV to be announced in relation to the copper resource. The actual extraction of copper out of the ground is likely to be a more long term goal hence why the company are keen to start generating revenue as soon as possible, therefore shifting the focus to gold short term.
They are aiming to start producing gold before the end of this year. With 500k cash in the bank the company themselves only last week confirmed they are in a strong cash position and with permits granted just a couple of weeks ago the company are literally chomping at the bit to resume operations as soon as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
There is also the potential at any time for this to be announced....

"The funding will also allow the company to pursue and complete an acquisition of an already-defined new gold opportunity elsewhere in Nevada subject to agreement."

This is in addition to the work ongoing with the current prospect licence areas where the last few years have been spent proving up the precious metals resources of gold silver and copper.

Management are also keen from recent RNS's to keep costs right down which is further proof of their alignment with shareholders and the company now have sufficient cash for this year and potentially enough cash for whatever additional gold acquisition they appear to be working on.

There are some who have probably tried to trade this for perhaps a 10-15% gain from the lows but will very likely end up missing out on the big re-rate that's looming with this share. It's been on the cards for a while here.

GGP is not the one to be in at this point - 0.10p to 8.80p over last few years so the real gains to be made were in the early days. GWMO is where GGP was before it's monumental climb. So if your looking for a potential 50-100 bagger over time then GWMO is the one to be in right now imo

Very glad to hear it chisler....another couple of buys will see this tick up again. Sellers out hence the slow steady rise over last few days with only small volumes. This is definitely one to be in for 2020 as gold holds up very well and oil crashes. Wouldn't be at all surprised if later this year Great Western gets bought out at a premium by another miner with deep pockets. Whatever happens here the outcome from this level is looking VERY good for shareholders

The U.S. federal Bureau of Land Management has now formally approved applications for surface disturbance works at the Mineral Jackpot and Rock House group gold and silver prospects on the Company's acreage in Mineral County, Nevada, for an initial period of two years which may subsequently be extended in two-yearly increments. Each permit will allow for five acres of disturbance and for subsequent exploration drilling. The planned initial works include construction of thirteen trenches across the two project areas, seven of which will be at RH Group and six at Mineral Jackpot.

Agreed great RNS - but yet despite this there are some truly stupid people out there like this person who crystallised a loss of £333 in just 1hrs and 45mins!
Bit of a tip if you're going to go to the trouble of buying shares in any company perhaps try holding them for a bit longer than just a couple of hours lol

This WAS a lifestyle company but not any more.

Look at the massive changes made with the company in last 6 month's and look at who is actually running the show and the ultra low cash burn now.

Don't make the same mistake twice and learn the hard way when the SP heads back up wishing that you were still invested...

Do you actually have any idea how much management are paying themselves? It ain't much that's for sure. Current cash burn very low they will still have cash from last 2 placings to start using once Covid-19 restrictions start being lifted. They're actually in a good position at the moment - should have over £500k in the bank.
Once we start seeing material progress I predict you will fade away back under the stone you crawled out from just like the others...

Sold the remaining stake of mine when this was around 4.5p - glad I did as this has put the company in a very precarious position.
The only way I can now see the company continuing to operate is with a dilutive discounted placing. Even before the chaos happened the company confirmed they wouldn't now be generating profit until perhaps the end of the year.

With the current market volatility we look round for those stocks that are considered a safer long term bet and gold stock's like TYM and GWMO certainly fit the bill.
The company are not only looking to start producing gold this year but they are going to use funds from latest placing to potentially purchase a gold asset. Gold currently 4% up so to those selllers what are you thinking?
