George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
It's funny reading all the people on here being so eager to **** AB off, they misread a perfectly clear statement, and stoke up their own anger - then when it is pointed out they have totally the wrong end of the stick - they blame AB for their own communication "weaknesses". I think they should all be sacked from the Board immediately......... Mayt..

“But Maytal, the point is the system is being abused and it totally compromises those in real need.
A classic example was those who abused the Covid relief, this relief is being investigated and those abusers are being looked at, that is fact.
That is the argument here.“
No that is not the “point” made in Ian’s original comment, and your “contributions” and if you read them again you will realise you are being disingenuous. I will call out unpleasant spoutings, regardless of whether I share their view on EUA. If people introduce off topic views, then they should expect responses. Mayt..
Ian
“I have never seen in the UK press, a child, and that is the only thing I was talking about, looking like a poor staving blown stomach malnourished urchin, like we do in the press in a foreign country.”
So that is your definition of food poverty? You are describing “famine” not food poverty - suggest you google what food poverty actually means …..if you can be bothered….otherwise continue to just view what you see in your own neighbourhood. Mayt…
Bodmin “ Maytal46.....call me what you like, but I'm quite certain I will be doing more to support the government when/if EUA comes in via my trading account and more to support those who genuinely need help via my non tax ISA then you likely ever have or ever will.
Now toodle back to your comfort blanket at the Guardian and you can tell them how horrible we all are.”
Who on earth reads the Guardian? I don’t have to be some raving lefty to call out your “pro fascist” comments. Mayt..
Ian and the horrible Beast - More “poor hating” themed comments to start the day, eh!
Ian you go off on a diatribe about not seeing food poverty where you are, into a general hate on women of a ‘certain kind’ - blingy women who rudely use their pushchairs on public transport - yet according to you mostly also drive oversize 4 wheel drive cars.
“ Marcus does donate some of his own salaries towards this, his, good cause, but, I haven't seen this food poverty myself down here, maybe it is area specific?
Most mums around here ACT like footballers wives, driving the biggest 4 wheel drive that they can't park to save their lives!”
You and I are probably of a similar age- maybe you are a little older, but I hope I won’t share your world view.
Sure there will always be people that “take” from the system, but to demonise everyone in the way you do is not great- and also gives a green light for even worse comments by the likes of the “horrid” beast.
By the way I hope you really, really enjoyed your lovely regular Thursday slap up breakfast yesterday with your pals - bet you didn’t have to give a thought to how you would pay for it .
Generally I am on the same page as you regarding EUA but am calling you and Beast out on your “ultra” attitudes to food poverty. Mayt…
DW - " you Must be so frustrated that you always get much less likes - LOL" - Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. You remind me of DigniDaz who feels that a "like count" reflects anything at all. To be honest you, Dig and Garonne have made this board such a toxic, miserable site - I'm surprised there are any people left (wow 15 posts today). I don't think anything will shift you stubborn stains, though - maybe I should try strong Chemo, and the Power of Prayer? Mayt.........
Does anyone know whether the JORC will have to be approved by the Russian Committee for Mining Resources - if it differs from previous reserves? I understand that it is not necessary according to the Australia JORC Code, but wondered if it was different in Russia. Hopefully it would be a rubber stamp exercise - but might be useful to know so can factor in when any offer could go out to shareholders (as presumably wouldn't want to send anything that had caveat "subject to approval"). Mayt...
The interim yesterday repeated that it was “almost” complete. Wouldnt expect anything next week as when complete will need signing off. I am speculating w/c 18th as earliest - leaving the vacuum for MM to surf between 21 and 27. I won’t be selling any shares, but have seen this play out so often here….. Mayt
Bobrad- Going back to at least 2012 (and perhaps earlier) the interims have always hit the Sept deadline. If it was a bit late I don’t think there will be any penalty - but would not go down well with investors I think. No reason to expect it not to come today after hours- but cutting it fine. A missed deadline would then give the naysayers an unnecessary talking point - in my view. Mayt
The is thread puts me in mind of a certain TV sketch……
(Extract)…. THIRD YORKSHIREMAN
“Well, of course, we had it tough. We used to 'ave to get up out of shoebox at twelve o'clock at night and lick road clean wit' tongue. We had two bits of cold gravel, worked twenty-four hours a day at mill for sixpence every four years, and when we got home our Dad would slice us in two wit' bread knife
FOURTH YORKSHIREMAN:
Right. I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad and our mother would kill us and dance about on our graves singing Hallelujah
FIRST YORKSHIREMAN:
And you try and tell the young people of today that ... they won't believe you
ALL:
They won't!” Mayt….
