ShareScare - I do think that Titan is very much in the environmental camp of Fred Smith QC [I have no problem with this at all, as long as views are sincerely held]. I think the arguments about whether we drill will be tested in court, and I am obviously hopeful that we will be allowed to drill without any delay.
I do think that we should avoid "****ging off" Fred Smith's character based on old items found on the internet. Spreading these type of things will not affect any court proceedings, and even though it might make some people on this board feel better - it could well be as counterproductive as the SC letter (even though he genuinely thought it a good idea). yakya - UBS are obliged to report these trades. This one is a CFD -

These CFDs are illegal in a lot of countries (including United States). Personally not a fan of people who trade them, even though perfectly legal here. Scope for shenanigans!! Mayt...

Lawrenceb - Yes I did see the story on Eyewitness News. It is not the first story about local and now International opposition to drilling around Bahamas. To be honest it is to be expected, and the environmental lobby are no doubt sincere. However the Bahamas Govt have issued appropriate drilling permissions to BPC, and are legally obligated to allow the BPC drill, as confirmed by Bahamian Prime Minister in previous stories in Eyewitness News. I see that readers are able to leave comments underneath the story, and a number have already done so expressing support for the drill on economic grounds. I intend to do likewise, and would encourage others to do so if they wish.
