Hi All,

Just looking at the figures, I’m a bit confused at the cash runway projection to 2025.

At 30th Apr 2023, for the previous year we’ve incurred an operating loss of £11.9m (after the £5.3m Genmab payment) effectively meaning costs of £17.2m or just under £1.5m/month.

Presumably, we can assume our costs to be approaching a similar figure of £1.5m/month in this year, meaning a further £18m to year end, 30th Apr 2024.

Now, assuming we don’t get any further Genmab revenue in the period, our predicted cash balance at 30th Apr 2024 would be £1.9m (Cash at 30th Apr 2023 - £19.9m less £18m Expenditure).

I can’t see a cash runway to early 2025, let alone after mid-2024, without significant revenue streams.

Can someone please explain.

It’s great, Genmab do a deal and get nearly 25% up front.

We do a deal with Genmab and get less than 1% upfront.

Agreed, an opportunity for Deutsche Telekom

That would be assuming he owns the whole of BT, he only owns 24%.

At £4.00/share, his BT value would be circa £9.5bn

Hopefully we will, Drahi’s only got $60bn of debt, he’s going to need a good offer for his 24% to make an impact

Excellent post, in today’s world with social media, etc, we seem to get an abundance of useless information.

However, in Scancell’s case, I’m sure it would be beneficial to everyone to report regular updates, whether good or bad, via RNS.

It’s just good corporate governance, keeping the shareholders regularly updated.

When people don’t know they naturally jump to all sorts of theories.

I’m sure people may refer to NDA’s etc, but they’re only updating progress.

Agreed, way to early for a Moditope deal, let’s get the data first.

Would like to see something on the others, Covidity sale/partnering, Immunobody, more Glymab deals, etc.

If there are any emerging from this week (unless it’s the finalisation of previous discussions), it’s going to take a while to draw up/confirm the legal agreements anyway, and we’re getting closer to summer holidays.

It’ll always be difficult negotiating with large companies when they’re looking at your previous revenue streams and likelihood of when you need further revenue.

Hopefully, having Redmile and Vulpes as backers quashes those theories.

It is an amazing response at Week 8, I do find the poster frustrating, there’s a lot of detailed information but no summary/key/bullet points.

I appreciate it’s a scientific conference but you need to attract people’s attention then let them dig deeper, the poster gives the information but they have to work through it.

The conclusion section is also very small.

Oh well, hopefully it’s well received.
