The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I don’t think that marketing is on the boards agenda, reason being they are only going to be talking with top table companies who already have sight of Sareum pipeline. Now PR is a different thing, we have drummed this into them many times and they nod but do nothing. As much as it pains us it’s not important to them. I firmly believe that they have 100% beliefs on the science and that all will come good so no need to improve communication.
Now we are in a BH weekend and the herd is not around, we may get some sensible discussion. My view is simple, the science has not changed and we are in the best place since the beginning. Now commercially and financially we are a mess, the chairman is responsible for corporate governance and due diligence, he has failed on all counts and should resign immediately in my view. It is no point dwelling on the finances now, what’s happened is history. So as we bring 1801 to a pivotal point, with good results so far, we hopefully deliver and our share price recovers to at least £2.50. Well that’s my thoughts. I will add I have signed up for the 10p shares offering.
Currently we are being pushed down on the back of the Riverfort financing. Until we get news this unfortunately will remain the case. The board could do some strategic buying of shares to show confidence to the investor base. I do think that our board are oblivious to the current position as they most probably can only see a rosey forward position. So if you are reading this board Tim & Co it would be a good gesture to either get tweeting or buy some shares to show your confidence.
So the news on products have been positive, the science remains good, yes we await results for the next phase, in my book all looking fine so far. Now on commercial aspects then our board have performed badly. It’s a disappointing share price currently but until we get the next results it’s still sit on your hands time.
We are in the waiting room with the expectant mother now with contractions, could be false labour or could be the real thing, although it could be a long labour and not straight forward, it could be a breach birth or is it going to come naturally in its own good time. It will come at some point, so sit tight.
My view of the BOD and the business is that Tim and Co are only focused on the science. They have never shown any commercial business sense. I feel they believe that all will come good post trials and don’t see this at all from a share owner point of view. I am sure that “more of the same is the same” is ahead.
We have a very knowledgeable set of share holders, many have been here a long time. I have 260k shares and sitting tight for the end game. I am unable to attend the AGM so will tune in to the webinar. With our knowledgeable share holders we get great info and research, so thanks to those people. Maybe I will get the chance to meet some of you at next years AGM.
I rarely post, so as I see it we are going to be squeezed until we have tangible news. We are well down the road with the trials and the bod have given us a schedule of what and when, it’s sit tight and hopefully good results will trigger share value.
Being a long term holder, it’s just a waiting game until news comes out. All these current posts is just fluff, we are in a good position with 1801 as long as we get positive results, given we started on low dose then there is minimal chance of a negative. All to play for, once we get news then our share price will move positively, just sit tight and let it play out.
The pressure is off for SAR, we cannot be pushed into a poor deal, this now provides a smooth path forward for 1801, if 737 lands ( on good terms) then great we pay off or stick at this point in the financial arrangement. We always need more cash at some point , I see this as a good platform to maximise any deal going forward for the cost of a few million quid.
Thoth was an exceptional guy, I followed him from the very early days when there was just 2 or 3 posts a day, he had a wonderful way about him, always factual backed up with data tinged with humour. Truly one of life’s great people who swim under the radar, top guy. You and his daughters must be very proud of him. RIP.
Gents - normally weekend posts are high quality with good information and research. This weekend was the exception for what ever reason. Generally there has been more silly posturing for some reason. I think we are in a good place and let’s keep it mature and relevant.
Thoth was in at the very early days, I followed him with his detailed information, he was / is a top guy. He provided masses of information and research. I for one miss his input. Let’s hope he is just laid low recovering from his ailments.
