The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Got a meeting in UK in 3 weeks time, hopefully can provide a bit more on this
Now's not the time to sell.
Barrick have been making moves (allegedly)
Rumour, no doubt?
I have no idea what this is all about.
Code, thanks for the link.
GS have an agenda. Pretty clear to me.

You are here to make money?
I am here to make money!
At this point, regardless of buy in point, everyone will profit. Some more than others. But all will profit.
I don't prepare for one outcome, I prepare for all the possible outcomes I can imagine.
If someone mentions dividend payments this early, beware.
All IMO
Rumble in the jungle.
Newmont still very much embarrassed at the pull out. (Investors still not letting go of the pizz poor judgement)
Barrick still bitter about Nevada.
Is Mr Palmer about to put things right? Me thinks he will try, but Mr Bristow might see things differently.
Glad I'm in here.
If you don't already know it, this is the biggest gold (not to mention copper)discovery in Australia's history.
Newcrest and (because of strategic ownership) Greatland Gold WILL be bought out - give it 12 months max.
Bizarre, or perhaps expected, my last post didn't even appear.
Stick with it guys, truth will out!
We're on the upward trend - regardless of your style; we are all going to win - even those who bought in at the highs!
Happy days!
Dillon, it wasn't a question I know, but all the same I would like to respond.
You mentioned bank account, which is a really good example: unless one has a substantial amount to let sit with a bank, the return is pretty poor, perhaps somewhere between 0.01 - 1% or perhaps 2% with a foreign bank?
If someone wanted to tuck away £1000 for a year, would they be happy with 0.01% which in real terms would give them a return of a penny or 2 or would they see the sense in investing in GGP?
Mad not to!

1 million can be traded within minutes. Will/would make absolutely no difference.
Redirons
Facts first.
Monday, as I said, was the last chance to buy this share cheap.
At no point moving forward will anyone be able to buy in cheaper!
You will, of course, experience fluctuations between Monday's low and the new highs - Did I mention 18?
GGP SP will in my opinion rise. Absolutely no reason to think otherwise - absolutely no reason.
Never mind the day traders, currently nothing substantial to be made, unless of course they are dealing with millions of shares - even then the return is relatively small.
This share is now attractive to weekly / monthly traders because they know the true trajectory.
If they invest £1 they know that if their weekly / monthly gain isn't met they can more than afford to wait because they know the SP will rise.
To these guys there is no risk!
There really is no risk. Work it out for yourselves.
Happy to answer any sensible questions.
Monday is your last chance to buy cheap.
lebugue-addick, all good except one thing.
"Looking forward to hearing the 2 outstanding holes tonight - they look like tasty morsels."
If they are "morsels" I think we are in trouble? Those who have the power to control the share price will make a meal of it, that's for sure.
Personally, perhaps like those of us who have no power to control the sp , I shall be sat at a table after hours in a new restaurant hoping to be served a 28oz T-Bone.
Dear oh Dear!
Might be a good idea to join chat between the hours of 6 - 4.

Come Monday morning, take your profit. Absolute collapse!
Probs lost a hell of a lot more than any of you guys on here!
Can't be doing with any of the continual excuses or baseless shyte
We have been done over good and proper!
AP - living life to the full! (not to mention the rest of the family)
Con-mans dream
In my opinion, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES EVEN CONSIDER TAKING A GAMBLE HERE!
My advice- drink ten pints of vodka, even the cheap sort, then walk into a casino and throw 50k on zero - take it from me, you'll have a 100% more chance of winning!
Diamonds? FFS!
Backhander for taking on closure more like!
LTBeliever, I like point 8. Diagnostics of cancer - I wouldn't include Covid though (Diagnosis of which, seems to be fairly easy at the moment). Should we pop up with new diagnostics for cancer, MSYS would be snapped up quicker than my wife can eat a bag of chips - which is pretty quick, I can tell you.
Hi Tymers,
Imminence of PFS may well be the cause, who really knows? Personally I don't believe PFS is a rubber stamp for the market, just my view.
I see it as a toss of a coin, Tuesday will see a take-back or perhaps, we're about to be presented with some great drill results?
Either way, all exciting stuff.
Hmmm.
Meadows, wishbone. Very very interseting.
eric, clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right.
And here I am stuck in the middle with you!
Apologies, couldn't resist.
Yes I concur Q.E.D.
You're on the ball here. Thank you!
