Thanks. Your mention of Vietnam reminded me that Haydale have a lucrative contract using graphene ink, I believe, in that country, fully described in their reports at the time. ----- Yours, Max.
You asked Mr B what will happen after 1.30 .Do you mean 2.30 ? OR has New York moved nearer to London ?? They are not on double summer time, are they ? Typed with difficulty since a District Nurse has put a pad on my leg and I am trying not to knock it off. ----- Yours, Max.
Here is the seond part, I hope.
This is the total voting rights figure which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interests in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
---------------- My Question---------------
Can you tell me please whether in your view we are subject to the same Rules as mentioned above.
The company putting out this statement, do not mention whether they have any shares held in Treasury.
------ Yours, Max.
I would like to ask about the following from an AIM company.
Application has been made for the new shares to be admitted to trading on AIM which is expected to occur on 5 April 2019 ("Admission").
Following Admission, there will be 153,257,419 ordinary shares of 0.1p
There is a bit more to copy on next post. ----- Yours, Max.
Sorry I have been absent, been suffering from a very old complaint and will see the doc tomorrow. Expect he or she will shout at me, but will gladly accept their adminstrations. Hope to be back in my usual scintilating discerning form soon to share what wisdom i can spare. Footnote: Able, I lived in Cheadle Heath from 1936 to 1948 when the family moved to Adswood while I was away in the forces. Lost all my precious shrapnell specimens and other war items in the move. Comments on this Board are of a high standard, in my view, and are very welcome for the thoughful way we are challenged. Long may that continue. ----- Yours, Max.
Very pleased you gave us this quote, Robin. Was it in a London Newspaper ? I receive some unsolicited correspondence from Canada and they are scrambling to obtain supplies of Litthium. Reading other technical literature it seems that Lithium will not survive as an essential material for battery storage. The work at Zap and Gnan might well gives an edge here. I confess to not fully understanding the science behind their work, but then, we mortals don't have to know everthing - just pretend we do !
Lets see them zap up the scale of production when ready and bye bye Lithium. ----- Yours, Max.
Was your latest post an outporing of frustration, hardly I would have thought. Then perhaps you should mind the pitfalls of "Instant Decision Making" unless the urgency you felt was overwhelming, and, in your conclusion, you had to say "USELESS".
if you stay with this chat line perhaps you may learn to moderate your language: to condemn is easy, but to do the work is often well outside most poeple's competence. Sorry if I might sound like a disciple of the company but having watched their efforts over a fair period, the company seems to be more than holding its own in the sector they operate in. ----- Yours, Max.
For this simpleton, could you please give me a breakdown on the headphones you use ? I was loaned a hearing aid system by a local charity but the earpieces proved a problem. My son searched his vast amount of electronic items and brought me a headphone which is heavy but good to use, for a spell. I don't know anything about 40 or 60 seconds in. Are they expensive and where can you get them ? ----- Yours, Max.
An apprentice sheetmetal worker at the age of 14 yrs and five days at a firm in Ardwick, Manchester, i atteneded night school to learn science [basic] maths using elementary Algebra, Engineering technology. Called up into the RAF at 18 yrs and 30 days, finished apprenticeship at a Stockport company. Continued night school in mechanical engineering, and decided to aim at being a teacher at a local colllege. Appointed Assistant Lecturer at Hyde College, i didn't care for the accepted method of transferrine knowledge to students. Purchased a typewriter which I then had to learn and gave my students notes ONLY partially covering the subjects. This meant they had to acqure some knowledge elsewhere. They didn't have to wait for me to fill the blackboard with text but I could draw relevant sketches for them and discuss. Carbon Equivalents was one topic that was important in their studies. NUFF SAID. ----- Yours, Max.
I have taken the liberty of providing a portion of a report which includes some good work -- Going Forward.
TP Group (AIM: TPG), the specialist services and engineering group, announces the award of £0.9m in development funding from the UK Ministry of Defence ("MoD") under the Defence Growth Partnership Innovation Challenge, run by the Defence and Security Accelerator ("DASA").
TP Group will act as prime contractor and project leader to develop one of the Group's Artificial Intelligence ("AI") applications. The two year project will ultimately deliver a fully operational demonstrator against the requirements of a specific future naval application. TP Group will be supported by industrial partners Thales, the University of Exeter and application partners within the MoD.
This system uses advanced algorithms developed by Polaris Consulting, the Fareham company acquired by TP Group in December 2017, to optimise autonomous routing of unmanned vessels deployed on hazardous missions. Several prototypes have already been delivered with early stage funding from DASA, including a successful sea trial in the Solent in 2017. Other systems have demonstrated machine-learning capabilities that interpret text streams, and are suitable to assist intelligence officers in threat recognition, or incident investigators on complex equipment such as jet engines.
This funding provides a catapult to future application development, not limited to maritime vehicles. Discussions are already underway relating to unmanned air systems ("UAS") and other maritime uses, not exclusively unmanned, such as optimising maintenance visits for offshore wind farms. END OF PORTION.
Not sure how algorithms are developed but it seems Polaris are the experts in our company. Working with Thales, a French company and the University of Exeter wil, I hope, create the right results expected of the Project. Any thoughts on this Topic, Please ? ----- Yours, Max.
For trivia, read his last line, disparaging or the hard truth most of us ignore ? ----- Yours, Max.
Firstly, if I may, one wonders if you are invested here and why. Secondly, if not invested here, one wonders why you bother to waste your time and ours in such trivial comments, and thirdly, if you would be considered a typical Marketing Director, whether of Technology or not, no wonder the country is in such dire straits. ---- Yours, Max.
Any thoughts on the two announcements this week, Tuesdays and Thursdays ? They have developed a team of about 20 to work in this area, I suppose some, from the newly acquired firms, have moved over from software type of work partially to the principles of "Quality Assurance" and its ramifications. You may recall, Polaris being chosen as one of four companies by MOD for work in some framework, and a Pic was shown of a representative speaking to the visiting Minister. ----- Yours, Max.
Your Comment --Instant charging for a drill ! Very good, but do you mean the drilling machine or the drill bit ? Don't need a reply since we all know ZAP are doing some fantastic work. ----- Yours, Max.
You are no fool, you would much rather take positive action than worry about Bre. Did you see my point about water and shortages in Africa. If our Parliament want something to really fight over they could follow your lead and determine that, while we are still in Bre, we should push hard to get Junkers, Tusk and company to try their best to help the suffering people who have minimal water available. Perhaps a call to MPs to take positive action would restore our countries place in the worlds best places for ideas and construction of water storage. ---- Yours, Max.
Some well thought out arguments provided by colleagues today. I muist say, we all seem to have the good of the company and everyone involved in the whole range of manufacturing (Yes, including AI) at heart. May I ask, what do we expect the Nomad, Cenkos Securities PLC and Vigo Communications to be doing in improving information to all stakeholders, and to the FCA. Is this body not interested in the reporting activities, or lack of such activities ? Surely, the MOD would have some interest there! Any thoughts on what we should see from such sources ? I assume the company pays a fee for such services ? _____ Yours Max.
Mr Best must have his reasons for investing in HAYD, but they do not produce graphene, they obtain it and mix it with other materials. They call their process "Facilitating" the use of graphene and other fine materials to be used in such items as car bodies, making graphene inks, which they have sold to customers in Asia to alleviate or eliminate "Fake" goods being exported as "Genuine". Haydale has partnered with GEIC, I believe, at Manchester University where Mr Best apparently joined them. ----- Yours, Max.
They Hold the Masters before the Open, You POSH people from down SOUTH should know this !! ---- Yours, Max.
Quick One, opens ---- 2.30 OUR TIME! Cheers Robin and Pals. ------ Yours, Max.
Thank you for your tip, I had a look and showed I was a private Investor but didn't register. The printed page was rather dark for me, I am registered blind but can see a little following an operation last year, may get signed off in july when I see the Doc. Still can manage to read and write here with special software. Doesn't make my grammar any better but she departed 1934. ----- Yours, Max.
