Max here, apologies for absenteeism.
Virus stress seems to be constant and worrying. Personal stomach problems, now slightly dimishing. Not been out side since 3rd of Feb so feel I'm in Colditz. Glad to see normal comments to the fore especially from Cornwall ! Hate to see firm called a "Dog" Get out of here ! Hope to join you all again before I fall asleep ! ---- Yours, Max.
Congratulations and Thanks for your post about VWAP. Assuming you arecorrect about 26th May, shall we be informed at that time ? Secondly, if members carry out a continual investment would this affect the outcomes ? ------Yours, Max.
Rather than wait for the tide to turn and hope for a divi, lets ask the company if there is any way we may join them in their plaudable endeavours to aid the NHS with Oxygen generators and FAST.----- Yours, Sleepily( Ineed more bedtime these days) Max.
Missed the 25 p chance, possible covid problem here. The situation does look OK as of now, waiting for couintries to recover, including UK. The amount of work involved to install and run the system is sataggering, not least for the customer BUT well worthwhile for evetyone. ----- Yours, Max.
If members had read my post of a downloaded report of the 7th March 2020 they would perhaps have seen there was NO need to reiterate that very full statement !! They should now be asking WHY are TPGroup not apparently supplying the equi8pment ALREADY BEING PRODUCED for the Royal Navy?? ----- Yours, Exasperatingly, Max.
Dear Able, Mr TT, and colleagues. I wanted my last post to enlist any Chemists or chemical Engineers who may pay a passing glance at our cprrespobence, and you both tp see whether the work we do for the Royal Navy can be used in any way to help in the present crisis. In particular, is the product produced for the Sailours suitable for hospital patients. I am thinking of the oxygen produced ahould be 100% pure. ----- Yours, Max.
Able and Mr TT. Perhaps the announcement, some time ago, that TP can offer hydrogen supplies should be brougth out to the fore. You have pointed out the soaring share price of ITM Power who supply hydrogen at the point of use (no transport involved) could be in competition with TP and bulk hydrogen supplies. Any thoughts on this possible development ? ----- Yours, Max.
Dear Able and Mr TT. The company has a lot of work in hand, engineering, conaultncy consulting with systems and project management and now further software expansion in Space. Given the recent financial agreement with a bank we may see a suitable acquisition to assist the development of Westek which seems tobe specialising in manfacturing of computer systems and associated software. I wonded whether Westek works with Polaris in this field., for cross development and enhancement of the software including AI. ----- Yours, Max.
Thanks for your clear message today, the RNS about delaying the report till end of April is also perfectly clear, and should not affect the SP. ----- Yours, Max.
Lucky O and Robin. Appropose Robin's comments to Kalan, May I tell You a little story - right this is gospel true.
Ten years ago I had to leave my post as a Parish Councillor due to failing eyesight, but on one ocassion when Iwas chairman of the council, my wifr were invited to witness the "Passing Out" parade of a company of army cadets, salute to be taken by a Colonel of the regular army based at Liverpool. The personnel in the unit were all living at a local charitable home for deliquuants, but were very smart on parade. Having been congratulated on their performance by the Colonel, we were all inviyed to participate in a buffet lunch. I, and others were astonished how these young men, all under 18 rushed to serve my wife with all sorts of iiems from the table for her nourishment, to sit near her, ask her questions, and listen to what she had to say. She seemed to become a substitute MUM to them all !! Afterwards we were shown two of the houses in which up to six had their own bedrooms, but there was a sadness too in the air. One of the lads was approaching his 18th Birtday and would have to leave the school. His classmates were very concerned about his prospects when he was going to be alone, out on the streets and no one to care for him as they did. My wife and I could not suggest a solution which adn't already been discussed, but the law of the land meant he could not stay and despondecy ruled amonh his younger companions. There was no happy ending here, I am afraid. ----- YOURS, MAX.
Dear Lucky O. Thank you for your post today - a lesson to be learned by all readers, and should be saved for "Future" reference !! It is great to be able to ask colleagues like you for explanations such as yours, thank you for taking the time. ----- Yours, Max.
Hello Robin and Lucky O: Could you please explain the maximum limit for the DOW Jones. I have seen times when the DOW shut if the index fell catastrophically but never seen a a MAX ----- Yours, Max.
This RNS spells the buyers name with an E , thus, Brierwood and they hold an extra 0.84 % as of that date. About 6 Million + shares. ----- Yours, Max.
Capt H. Thank you for your post today about tyre wear, over a period, there have been some thought about Formula 1 Race Cars running on soft tyres, does this examplify your discussion on polution ? Motorists are always being told to check tyre pressures, should they be fined for not doing so? About a year ago a report was issued by Merseyside Police about a car driving along the M62 with no front tyres, and he was difficult to catch !! Did the driver not know ?? ----- Yours, Max.
Able and Mr TT. The rate charged for the amount drawn down will vary between 1.75% and 2.25%, depending. So choosing 2.0% as the actual rate, and assuming a LIBOR figure of 0.6665, the rate to be paid would be 2.0 + 0.6665 = 2.6665% which does not seem punitive, particularly since we are not a bank. Did the bank need to do Due Diligence before the agreement was made ?? Not yet checked on Reuters, may find time tomorrow hqve been having a sleep whilst supposed to be watching exciting talk by Tony Robinson tracking the Romans through the Lake District over which my family and I have often trekked, In mycase over Great Gable and Helvelyn. ----- Yours, Max.
One or two points. Multi-purpose is exactly right, the borrower (US) has to explain to a potential lender just what trhey propose to do with the finance made available, and so they have laid it out. The lender will offer certain terms and conditions on which the Board of Directors make their decision. The rate of payback will be based on LIBOR plus a % added on, but seemingly only on the amount drawn down from the £7.0M (possibly reaching to £12M). Trying to swat up on LIBOR seems to be akin to the DAD's Army mob trying to count the turkeys in a farm yard !! Any thoughts on all this ? Tomorrow or Monday, YES, lets put it back tp Monday like the Prime Minister, we can look at some technical terms, Able and i hope other posters will chip in we go wrong. ----- Yours, Max.
This download is self-explanatory:-
Submarine Oxygen Generating Devices Order
TP Group (AIM: TPG), the providers of mission-critical solutions for a more secure world, announces that it has secured a new order worth approximately £1.0 million from the Ministry of Defence ("MoD") to supply it with oxygen generating devices.
This order is for a further 750 multi-purpose oxygen generators, which are supplemental to the Company's other large atmosphere management systems which the Company currently supplies to the MoD and other global customers.
These devices will be supplied to the Royal Navy during 2020 as part of the estimated £22m framework contract previously entered into between TP Group and the MoD to manage equipment availability and provide spares for air purification systems, as announced by the Company on 3 April 2017.
Phil Cartmell, Chief Executive Officer of TPG commented:
"We are very pleased to see a further significant order under the long-standing framework agreement between the MoD and TP Group. This latest order highlights the enduring value of these arrangements and further illustrates how the Group provides long-term support and ancillary solutions alongside major systems, to provide an all-round service to our key customers
This order was received only seven days after the last order, looks like more woek for Westek . Perhaps our new-ish poster was right in his summary, we need to have a revolving financial agreement in place to sustain gaining orders in quick succession like this. The MOD may well be pleased about this agreement. ----- Yours, Max.
TP Group (AIM: TPG), the providers of mission-critical solutions for a more secure world, announces that it has been awarded a contract valued at c.£1.0 million from an existing long-term customer based in South East Asia for the supply of a submarine carbon dioxide removal system.
The work will be undertaken at the TP Group facility in Portsmouth for delivery at the end of 2020. This contact is part of a broader replacement programme.
Phil Cartmell, Chief Executive Officer of TPG commented:
"We are delighted once again to have secured this contract with a long-term customer in the maritime sector. It also demonstrates our growing reputation as a trusted supplier in a global market."
This announcement was made on 9th Jan 2020, just two days after the Saps Eclipse Suiye contract. ----- Yours,Ma.
Hi, Unhelpful Able, I am going to try to download the 7th Jan note for you to study tonight and over the weekend so you will be up to date on this, here goes :--
European Space Agency Agreement for ECLIPSE Software Suite
TP Group (AIM: TPG), the providers of mission-critical solutions for a more secure world, announces that its subsidiary, Sapienza Consulting Ltd ("Sapienza"), has signed a €2.2 million Master Service and License Agreement with the European Space Agency ("ESA") to renew its service provision and related licensing for the ECLIPSE software suite.
ECLIPSE is a suite of specialised software modules focused on space industry project management activities. ESA has been using Sapienza's ECLIPSE suite for ten years and this agreement extends its use of the system for a further three years across all its sites and Directorates.
Phil Cartmell, Chief Executive Officer of TP Group, commented:
"We are very pleased to continue our work with ESA and to support its activities through our industry-leading technology and services. The Sapienza team has established a key role in the European space community and this award underlines its contribution to and reputation in this rapidly evolving and dynamic market."
Please note. The suite has been used by ESA for ten, Y.E.S TEN years and is a [roduct of SAP. Now an extra three years work will ensue through ALL Sites and Directorates of ESA!!! Isn't that sensational ?? Particularly having read a report today that the UK government is consideing establishing its own space systems, having been SHUT OUT of the EURO zone's "Galileo" space system. So, TPG through its 100% owned company, SAP, is treading where the UK gov can't !!! ----- Yours, Max.
DID everyone miss or simply ignore the share benefits for Scamp the Dog, how many cheap shares are available is not stated BUT what about the Free 120 share given as well ?? OH, I get it. He isn't being honest is he, he is living up to his user name. AH, well let us ignore him as he probably is elsewhere. ----- Yours, Max.
