They’ve been able to get incredibly good deals with landlords in prime locations- the best locations in the country - because of covid. I think they are better positioned than most. The government will have to do something soon. Get through this winter and in 12 months time this could be a beast imo.

Flagship boom battle bar in Oxford Circus, looks like opening is imminent.

Escape Hunt owner operated sites have continued to perform well. The UK owner operated estate traded ahead of the Board's expectations in Q1 2022 and has performed in line with expectations to date in Q2 2022.

· A new owner operated Escape Hunt site opened in Exeter in April 2022, co-located with Boom

· Three further owner operated Escape Hunt sites are in build in Edinburgh (co-located with Boom), Norwich and Bournemouth

· Further Escape Hunt sites are currently under consideration, providing a pipeline for continued growth

· Total cash at the end of May 2022 was £6.8m

Great to see escape perform well over the first half especially in first quarter. A co located site in Exeter must be great way to generate more revenue. And total cash at 6.8mil looks nice and healthy.

Only negative I can read on their is the Oxford street delay by 4-5 months. So I’m guessing opening around oct - nov? Just before Xmas so could be a great time for opening… Xmas parties and company Xmas bookings etc.

Boom:

“The Boom estate today comprises 17 sites of which four are owner operated and 13 are franchised.”
“ As a result, the Board remains confident of achieving its target of having 27 Boom sites open and trading by the end of the calendar year. Within this number, the Company now expects at least nine owner-operated sites - an increase from the seven initially targeted.”

That’s some very impressive growth, on target to get to 27 sites within approx 12months or so. With 9 owned exceeding its initial goal of 7.

I also like the fact their review ratings on Google have improved recently mostly all sites over 4 stars which is great especially considering their rapid growth strategy.

What’s not to like?

Seems the company is in a very healthy position atm. Looking at their financials and most recent performance they seemed to have done exceptional. Or am I missing something?
Would be good to understand kitous’ motivation. I know it says for his own financial gain and to further his own profile but would be valuable to hear his side. And what that actually looks like? Maybe someone on here more knowledgable than me could help explain?
The share price looks way undervalued to me. And reading into their plans for growth I was excited to see where they could get too in 12months - 2years time. Let’s see how it develops…
