As I said a while back,time to take on the union…get rid of those that don’t want change,break the union,start a fresh and move the company on…those that moan and don’t want change,step aside,those that do want change,move with the company,make money,better pay rises in the future…

A lot of the general public won’t be on your side either….in fact if the strikes continue you will loose all good will,along with business customers…which are hard to get back,which equals little growth,which equals less money,which equals less wages in the long term.
Iam actually glad you may go on strike,hopefully loose the fight eventually,break the union,let all those go who want to,then start again for the long term…

Dyna…just get on with change…being another stuck in the mud worker…if you cannot change get another job.

All the other companies deliver in the dark lol….another not wanting to move with the times…get on board or move along….talk about being in the dark ages.

Get on with it then,stop bleeting,I do hope you get a reasonable rise,but I also hope you have to adhere to change,I also hope the company stands firm,grasps the nettle so this is isn’t happening again.
If you don’t like it jog on,find something else,if the price drops I say thanks and buy more,if the price rises I say thanks and don’t buy more…and mr 20%….he’s sat there waiting to hoover up,if that leads to a take over god help you.
He will say nothing but will be smiling picking up the company for peanuts.
Who ever says these things will never happen are in cookoo land.

I certainly do hope once the dust settles and things move in the right direction the remaining workers who move with the times get better pay rises….I hope your in the mix when the dust settles,and not moping around all bitter and twisted..lol

Correct….I load up if the price continues to drop….then hopefully the squeeze continues,the lazy drop out….life goes on,the company continues regardless….seen it all before….modernisation continues quicker,the company makes more money,then and only then once the fossils have left the building…pay increases,share price increases,and every ones happy…

I don’t need to enlighten anyone,neither do I have to explain anything that I have suggested,these are my own views I have lovingly shared with all….touched a nerve though with you hasn’t it….and just for your info,I have been ampostie in Stockport,as has a family member for 10 years until recently….quite an easy job,not hard at all,especially for those who like the out doors,enjoy a little keep fit,I also no that some of the old timers were so used to pottering along,that they now having to work for a living really goes against the grain….I truly hope the union is left in tatters,and that change happens very quickly,and that all the lazy workers go a different route,I also hope once this is achieved and profits go up,there shared amongst all the hard working workers who have helped achieve the success,and those that once worked in the Stone Age and wouldn’t change sit on the sides thinking …I could have been part of that…have a nice evening

Iam a share holder,and have invested knowing about the union,I also invested on the cheap in my eyes hoping the union gets substantially weakened so that in future the dog is wagging the tail,and not the tail wagging the dog,once this happens I expect the company to rid its self of the lazy,become more stream lined,which leads to the share price to fly…and for me to have a nice profit.
I expect this to happen…that’s why I bought in.

You may think it’s nonsense,but it happens,time and time again,I do hope it sorts it’s self out,but would also be happy if the company plays hard ball long term…let the ones who think it’s the worst company in the world go,and build…change…go forward..not stay in the dark ages with a work force unhappy….short term hardship for long term gain…

I would not be surprised if the market takes a good view on the company taking this stand….markets looking long term,and with a weaker union comes more power to the company,which in turn will will bring more profits….I would also have thought that if people don’t want to work for R/m the company wouldn’t stand in there way…in fact I would also suggest they would ring a taxi for them all.
Life goes on,company’s move on,they survive,they will always get new men on the ground…long term this sounds like there plan….let the postie leave,replace with a non union new employee…investors will prob cheer this as they no if they succeed the company will be stronger in years to come,as will the share price,as will there profits….

They will all have cost pressures,they will all put prices up…the companies you mention are great when things are going well…a nightmare when they don’t…many prefer to be actually able to talk to some one

Unless someone else takes a large holding,is in cahoots with the main shareholder,then the offer gets pushed through,this happened with talk talk.
It was taken private cheaply and there was nothing anyone could do.

Information is no good if it’s incorrect.
If that’s happening in the RM work place then the union is crap.

Incorrect…I have recently won a union battle with a company where it’s employees were on 25 hours contracts,they did a lot more than that…they thought when holiday pay came around they only had to pay 25 hours…this is not true…companies now have to pay by law holiday pay in averaged hours..upto full time hours…so if you actually do 37 hours,but are contracted to 25…by law now you have to pay 37 in hol pay.

I for one will never use any cheap delivery service,great when it’s going well,absolute nightmare when the crap hits the fan.
Recently we have found a lot of out tracked 48 parcels have started to get there after 24 hours…also recently Royal Mail have not lost 1 of our parcels,and a lot of 2nd class parcels have been delivered within 2 days,from recent experience I have seen a marked improvement on service.
