Just booked my parcels online and get this..
Prices dropped 10%….couldn’t believe it.

I always do try to buy towards the bottom….just never seem to accomplish it,that’s probably why iam still sending my parcels recorded instead of special…but it still works and as yet has never let me down….:-/

You have to expect that,nobody is going to get anything close to the rate of inflation.fact.
And if you do your in cuckoo land.

One thing I always say,nothing goes up forever,and nothing goes down forever….not everyone’s cup of tea,but I always buy on bad news or when the share is on the way down,then reap the rewards on the rise and sell on good news…this one is taking a little longer than planned:-/

With the times article on Sunday,mentioning shorts and the bet against rm largest shareholder,then a ridiculous downgrade,anyone would think this was manipulated so some shorts could close…just a hunch.

Makes me laugh,5 weeks ago it was a buy off them.

An increase just as the landscape changed slightly looking at the dates.

They have been buying back there short shares,then re-shorting to push the can down the road,as well as covering there positions by also buying in.

Buy back,not sell.

At an educated guess they have sold some back to the market,then borrowed and sold more,moving along the date in the future they have to sell.

They have just done exactly the same with …ON THE BEACH…shorting the stock,but buying in today.

Obviously…..as happens with all shorted stock.
But once gone this will March back as the fundamentals are there,cash is there,and as the markets are fickle they will want to make money on the way up.
Many won’t invest while the shorts are about,there waiting for the bottom and once the shorts allow that to happen investors flood back.

I get all that,but still all parcels need to be delivered,our local dpd drivers are all going electric shortly,I hope Royal Mail speed up the electric process and ditch diesel vans.

One thing I would be trying to implement more quickly at this point if I was in charge,is the move over to electric vehicles a lot more quickly….even if it meant not buying back more shares as quickly.

Any good company covers there cost to make money,expect big increases in postage charges right across the board…everything and anything will now have an excuse to be put up in price,the end consumer will end up paying the brunt,expect Royal Mail to still do very well:-)
