Given that the FDA are swamped with applications through covid I guess it wasn’t a big surprise that review will be as per the previously stated term of October this year. Also, the share price reaction to that news suggests that not very much was priced into this “hope or expectation” and with approval being now only 9 months away, and that obstacle of “will we/won’t we?” now removed, we should see the share price start to respond positively to this upcoming event. Markets are forward looking so October is now getting very close in investment terms

Any pullback will be very short lived as many investors have been waiting on the sidelines for this obstacle to be removed. We finally have certainty and markets are very forward looking so, in investment terms, October is not that far away.

Lots of buying pressure Friday afternoon and difficult to buy in any quantity. Could it be that we are in for some positive news regarding accelerated FDA approval this week?

I think a lot of potential investors are waiting on the sidelines until we have the FDA priority review request outcome. As mentioned by other posters priority review is a “nice to have” and even if the response isn’t favourable it doesn’t change the incredible medium/long-term potential here. Once this obstacle is removed we should see the share price rise significantly, be that a negative or positive outcome.

I think there’s a lot of potential investors waiting on the sidelines ready to invest once we’ve had the FDA priority review outcome. Refusal of priority review would not be too much of an issue as Polarean has enormous potential. Even with priority review declined I see considerable buying pressure once this hurdle has been removed. Any pullback would be brief and investing in any quantity could be tricky.

Being just a medical device rather than a drug significantly increases the likelihood of FDA approval as patient risk is minimal. Add to that the number of experimental machines already out there in top medical institutions around the world and FDA approval would appear to be a given. Also what’s better placed than Polarean for receiving priority approval? Not very much in my view, the post covid world desperately needs this technology to replace current forty year old conventional MRI one dimensional, radiation emitting machines. Hopefully we’ll get that confirmation this week.

Well that’s got the share price moving! ... unless there’s some FDA news leakage?

It’s hard to imagine a stronger candidate for accelerated FDA approval than Polarean right now. With hundred of thousands of long covid cases in the US, and around the world, the need to get this superior imaging technology to mass market could not be greater.

Magsy, do you still own circa 400,000 shares, and if so I’m interested to know why you’ve not reduced your exposure given your extremely pessimistic outlook?

When I posted Wednesday afternoon that this has been oversold and “we wouldn’t see the 60s again after this week” I didn’t expect us to be back in the 70s quite as quickly as first thing the following day. That’s quite an impressive bounce back. Bit of consolidation Friday but we should see this head back up towards the 80s as the week progresses. Just so many positives, and so few negatives for Polarean right now. Long covid cases in the US are unfortunately going to be huge so it’s hard to see how the FDA can afford not to grant priority review to this unique technology.

Well oversold at this level, covid vaccine matters little. Added more just now, don’t think we’ll stay in the 60’s much longer and doubt we’ll see it again after this week.

With Polarean being US based I think we are also now seeing some pent up buying from those who chose to keep their powder dry in the run-up to the US election

Dr Michaels I think it’s time for you to sell up mate and move on. You clearly know very little about investing and I don’t think you’re cut out for it. May I suggest premium bonds as a safer option for you?

Having thoroughly researched PALM I also chose to invest yesterday. Standout for me is the £6.5M market cap which is incredibly low for the assets they possess. CEO also has great credentials

After the run up to 70p we had a small pullback and short consolidation in the high 60’s. It now looks like it’s commenced it next leg upwards, momentum is increasing as the market takes note, and I see it at 100p by the end of this month. So few negatives, so many positives ie. incredible unique product, no competition, growing market need for pulmonary MRI technology, accelerating experimental uptake, hugely undervalued, potential for Bracco takeover.
