Many thanks for the update and link Hedgehog. The potential here is significant on many fronts. Aside of the Bracco takeover potential, the need for Polarean’s technology should be huge in the aftermath of Covid, by which time hopefully a fast tracked FDA approval has us to market providing a much sought after solution.

Flyingmachine - I would be surprised if Magsy was invested in GDR given his/her negative view on the company.

This feels like Groundhog Day just before CE approval landed. This board was packed full of pessimists saying GDR had failed to deliver, even though the deadline hadn’t yet been reached. Sound familiar? ... then, lo and behold what happened? ...

The only thing I can completely rule out Magsy is you being positive about a share you apparently own for just once.

How can the new role be anything other than a positive! GDR are not so dumb as to leave it until now until recruiting. The clue is in the word “support” It means demand for their product is stronger than they envisaged . That surely is a huge positive, can’t be anything else!

Interesting theory Marve, you could be onto something there. Regarding forward selling in general, now the share price is so much closer to the 80p placing price, and the “assumed” 97p Bond Conversion price, surely the appeal or need to forward sell at all has significantly diminished.

For sure lack of sales are keeping the share price in check but the market also knows that sales news is not too far away - and likely to be sizeable given the products USP versus poorer quality competition. What’s really holding the share price back is the II selling following the placement. We know this as we can see the strong PI demand heavily biased towards the buy side. As someone posted recently, the II selling can’t go on forever, and is probably almost done now, so the handbrake should come off shortly even with no news.

Heading into the close it was 131.1 Sell and NT to Buy.

I think we will get a rough idea on type of content from the AVCT presentation tomorrow. IMO, as they are almost in tandem, it’s likely they are instigated by Cytvia. Anything price sensitive then it’s likely both AVCT and GDR will do 7.00am RNS’s tomorrow.

Given that GDR and AVCT are holding similar events on consecutive days could it be Cytvia driven? Either simple encouragement to do some market comms or same news to be announced for each regarding the partnership.

Good find cpshart. I think AIM stocks are mostly news driven but there’s not doubt that larger investors are also mindful of the ‘technicals’ so if GDR has now moved from “sell” to “Buy” that has to be a positive irrespective of any pending news :-))

In an effort to secure further media coverage I’ve just emailed BBC Breakfast in Manchester telling them they have the gold standard covid-19 test company located just 4 miles down the road from their Salford Keys studio. I also attached the Proactive Investors interview to give them an overview of the technology, USP etc. I know the Sky interview had a few improvement opportunities but DB did a great job with Proactive and Zac. There is usually a tendency for share prices to rise at the turn of the month as some II’s look to take up new positions. So what’s the likelihood of us receiving completely new institutional investment, and therefore reversing the scenario of “forced” Institutional selling we have seen in recent weeks? ... any thoughts?

Boris just said at the liaison committee that the government has a target coming “as soon as possible” of having all test results back within 24 hours. That should narrow the field of qualified suppliers down.

Always amazes me why people stay invested in shares they no longer believe in! That to me demonstrates real investor naivety, surely that’s the point where you move your money elsewhere.

Crossed market for the past hour now with sell price 0.45p higher than buy price. Very unusual in such low volatility trading.

Report just out in the US critical of the Moderna vaccine trial. Apparently “not enough data for it to be assessed”. Moderna shares fell 10% on the news.
