80p passed through with ease. So much potential to be un-locked here and will be invaluable for treatment of numerous cases of long covid and many other conditions - general pulmonary disease, cystic fibrosis, Asthma and stent placement, all in a clean non-intrusive radiation free environment. No real competition either so captive global market.

Despite what google shows we are actually up another 4p today. Any pullbacks are getting briefer and smaller. Seems the pre-FDA approval re-rate could finally be under way.

Some excellent coverage on Justin Waites weekend podcast from 20m 45s to 23 minutes - He says “Share price will start rising way ahead of expected FDA approval in early October” and “Polarean estimate they can do 25 institutions per year for the next 4 years. JW did conservative estimate of just 15 institutions per year which would give a market cap of £1B by 2027”. Still very difficult to buy any quantity, as was most of yesterday. Hopefully positive news afoot

During their presentation two weeks ago Polarean said they were already actively engaged in dialogue with the FDA, who had sought some clarifications, which had all been answered satisfactorily. I was surprised that this dialogue was going on so early. The fact that this is a medical device, and not a drug, suggests to me that there will be no delay to FDA approval. If anything it sounds like the FDA are well ahead of the game. This will not wait until Aug/Sept for the re-rate, it will start imminently

Incredible how this has remained under the radar for as long as it has. Groundbreaking technology with no competition. FDA approval getting ever closer. Even without long covid the potential here is enormous. The market does finally seem to be waking up to it now it’s completed it’s retrace back to the placing price.

Someone’s been accumulating in multiple lots of 50,000 over the last couple of days, hopefully the post placing consolidation is nearing completion

For the first time in weeks I could dummy sell my entire holding throughout the day today. This would not be possible if institutions were forward selling. Those missing trades are most likely delayed large buys which pushed the share price up in the first hour of trading.

No sign of that loser Natham today, probably fretting over the continued decline of CTAE, which I reckon is going all the way down to 2.14p

Thanks TI, not for the first time V O X didn’t put out an RNS alert for that one! Yes, encouraging indeed. Knowing the fund raise was so heavily oversubscribed at 60p puts a real floor on the share price and makes this a very attractive risk/reward play now

Newly invested here about 30 minutes ago after doing some research. Looks an outstanding prospect, can see why the placing was so over subscribed

I think it only appears to be a sea of red because the buys are showing as sells due to the very tight spread near the close

Absolutely agree Starresnstoff. It does appear to be more about consolidation after the run up. But its reassuring to know if there was to be one it would likely be a positive rather than a negative

Lots of talk about a potential placing on here this week. Personally I think it’s unlikely. If GDR were in need of cash to support manufacturing then surely Cytvia / Beckman would provide that in the short term until sales revenues come through - small change to them. However, IF there is to be a placing then a likely scenario could be that the placing price is set around 110p. This would explain why there appears to be a solid floor in the share price at this level. It’s also been very difficult to buy in any volume later in the week which would suggest new Institutional buying at this level - those in the know who were possibly short of their desired allocation in the placing. If this scenario plays out then this would be incredibly bullish for the share price and risk reward would be looking particularly favourable.
