Radley - people on here are not rampers, they are enthusiastic about Genedrive because they are stock owners. They are stock owners because they believe it’s a great investment. You’re clearly not a Genedrive stock owner, or indeed a believer in its potential, so it begs the question what are you doing here? I think it’s patently obvious and it appears most of the members here can see your agenda. So maybe it’s time to move on?

The fact that those additional shares are pending entry into the market is in the public domain ie. it’s already known. Therefore it’s already factored into the current share price. The adjustment was made on announcement of the RNS when we had the fall from 300p.

There were some huge buys coming in the final minutes of trading yesterday, pushing the share price up nearly 20p in 10 mins. This signals that the price has stabilised and the serious investors have returned. Should hopefully see strong follow through buying this morning.

I doubled my holding to 70000 earlier this week. With regard to Covid-19 the current emphasis is all on testing and vaccines. As we come out the other side of the pandemic unfortunately not everyone will make a full recovery and I sense the market will shortly wake up to the fact that there will inevitably be a huge surge in demand for lung function imaging diagnostics. In this respect Polarean’s technology is game changing. I would also like to think that there will be some acceleration of the timelines in view of this.

If you’ve currently got 20k shares expect to get no more than 1000 @ 80p.

Previous PI placing’s I’ve participated in have always been allocated based on your existing shareholding ie. the greater your existing share holding the greater your allocation. Given there’s circa 20M shares currently in circulation to PI’s and circa 1M new 80p shares available to PI’s you would expect perhaps 1 new 80p share for each 20 you currently hold . However there’s no mention of a ratio allocation with this case which unusual.

The entrance of the new shares @ 80p on 28th May should have no adverse impact on the share price as the share price now reflects that potential dilution and has adjusted accordingly. That was the fall this morning from circa 300 to 155. This was an over reaction due to the nature of the announcement and subsequent investor panic and therefore the share price has now ‘normalised’ at today’s close of 220.

Do we know if that £1.40 close on google is a delayed trade from earlier in the day or a late trade after the closing auction?

The BBC news website under the heading “The biggest test for testing is yet to come” comments that “The ultimate goal will be to provide testing to anyone who needs it in the whole population so local outbreaks can be contained once lockdown restrictions begin to be eased”. “But for containment to work that will need tests that can be turned around quickly - it can still take 72 hours from start to finish for some”. I totally agree with this BBC comment and in this respect I think Genedrives POC testing, which eliminates the need for return to Lab and all the related logistical activity, therefore enabling almost instant diagnosis, will be of a huge competitive advantage.

I can’t comment on how long asymptomatic people are infectious for but I can tell you that my daughters friend, who works in the NHS, has just had COVID-19 and she is being tested to ensure she is no longer infectious before returning to work. Although she was told it’s unusual, its taken her 40 days to lose the infection after ‘recovery’. She was tested every other day for clearance to return to work - that’s 20 tests!

That Lancaster Uni article is dated 25th March 2020 so would appear it’s had no effect on us. In fact that’s around the point we started to take off.
