JMAX I think 575m was the initial payment and a further payment was made once FID was secured. At the time Total were not interested that was 5 years ago and debt stood at 3.3billion. So 5 years ago no, but perhaps things may change - I won’t speculate, but Ian has been brought in to navigate the business through to refinancing and build the business

JMAX for what that is worth Total would be better placed buying Tlw……..Ian Perks could easily be that middle man that brokers a deal. Total could easily fund such a deal. They paid Circa 675m for Uganda…….

JMAX amended terms and a roll forward will work. I also feel that Ghana will pay up and we will see the SP jump as a result. Knowing that Glencore have skin in the game is also a game changer, with Ian Perks history working with Andarko, BG and Total putting him is a key position of strength to negotiate acceptable terms. I know I mentioned this previously but Uganda (once Total hit milestones and Oil price driven) will also provide income going forward. Jubilee and Ten also need production boosted, which is also being worked on

JMAX I know you have called it and I am with you in terms of those that did not reduce when much higher, but I think you agree that from here there is significant upside, as the debt will be rolled over. It is way oversold and the bounce from here will be fairly decent. I managed 7/8p to over 40p…….think it hit 65p. They will try to boost production and get good hedges secured

Big gap up to around 5.6p that this should jump to. Keep buying at these levels as then it could get to around 7.5p

Insider buy of 2m shares at 11.9p…….using his own cash. That to me is an indication that those in the “know” are acutely aware that refinancing will take place. For me at these levels - well follow the buying

Tim has just done what many on here said he would and changed the goalposts……..in those Proactive interviews he was adamant tie up/deal would happen in 2025. The RNS now states when practicable in 2026. Pretty sure we see some marking down and selling - Lanstead will want to get the price down too. I have traded this a few times but Im confident of buying my holding back for less than I sold out for.

Jim yes details on boards have no bearing on the sp, but tbf Oily did set the record straight about the pipeline opening and details on the KRG meeting, which significantly impacted the price here. Is it hard to imagine a scenario that DNO were to make an offer? I just view this share as exceptional value and now OMAN is progressing too.

@Redacted agree that Miran was a big loss that was a top 3 gas find…….from my Heritage Oil Days I added here when Genl took hold of that licence.Onwards and upwards
