Definitely going to divest when the initial results are back ad should easily see £20m for 15-20% of their stake

Certainly on course and a nice update followed by divestment - there will be interested parties at £20m+ for a part of our holding

No gave those the opportunity to eat the dip which in 30 minutes has us back where we started. What I did notice is that there were 3 x 1 M buys over at Scirocco - all very positive for those that have been invested for a number of years.

@MRs you do make me laugh - you have had your account since 2020 and an expert on Scirocco? I have been with the group from when it was solo oil and I very much do know about the delays in Tanz, but that was under the old regime. There has been a total shift in the last 12 months or so and if we are just transferring a % to an existing partner then this is only a process that would take a few weeks.

So close to 3D so wait and then have a better idea what its could be worth and then a transfer of an additional percentage to ARA before spud - now that makes sense.

It would depending on the deal be a free carry for our holding - I anticipate that to be 5% fully carried plus 20m min, but either way I doubt there will be a shortage of takers tbh. ARA will probably want to buy an additional stake once 3D is completed, which is my belief but cant rule out a sizeable offer coming from elsewhere, which is all good for holders of Scirocco.

The discussion would no doubt only be finalised once the 3d Seismics were available to determine an appropriate price. Now in my view that’s a minimum
20m for 20% with us retaining 5%. There could well be more money on offer because the asset is worth more now with the GIP estimates based on the cost of gas right now compared to 3 years ago. So for me the current sp is an absolute steal.

Great yes I can see that but in the day we had a 2m, 2.5m and 1.5m buy, so as you say that sell was well and truly soaked up.

Crusty I am looking at Advfn and always have done and that transaction you mention at that time, or indeed any time after does not show up. In fact it was rising after 12:48 on Friday. Well should be a solid buy, because based on where Aminex is right now we should be around 4.5p. An offer for our acreage will be more than treble our current market cap in my honest opinion

I think we will mirror Aminex and adding today at 0.77 seems a no brainer - Scirocco are looking to sell/ farm out from their 25% holding so looking at a transaction for the 20m mark based on what Aminex negotiated 3.5 years ago. The key factor is where gas prices have gone in the last 12 months let alone 42 months, what is the the M&A market like for anything attributed to O&G, so that figure can be revised up significantly. Also with 3D Seismic surveys having started in mid-December I am sure we will get more accurate data that has the potential to create some price discovery in the SP here and over at Aminex.

Crusty I could not see any single sell for the amount you have stated - close on Friday (28/1) showed 22m buys against 13.68m sells in total. So far today we have 3.41m buys against 1.68m buys - is that not correct? More buys than sells and volume increasing - they are the facts and not a ramp. Newsflow and anticipation building.

Scirroco Energy (Scir) looks a bargain at 0.77 to buy as they hold the 25% of this licence and are actively looking to sell/ farm down. With a market cap of £7m you can easily see potential for both partners.

Oh wow looks like the stars are aligning somewhat after years of being able t move projects forward the new regime look keen to monetise what the state holds - hopefully this is good news for all involved - APT, AEX, SCIR, TPDC
