Because any shorter would close in fear of the terms of losing the option to buy shares if metro undertake a rights issue. Remember shorters have to return the stock to where they’ve come from. Hence you get a rush of buying - same happened over at RR Rolls Royce when I bought in there in 2020.

Well I think we could well see some heavy buying - I did start a thread but all the short holders seem to be wanting to bury it

Funny how multiple new posters have started new threads to bury my post. If anyone is interested in looking at what happened to Rolls Royce’s SP in 2020 - another one I was involved involved in. Volume should be good tomorrow

Can see a squeeze early doors tomorrow - both funds will need to close out and return shares to where they have been borrowed……..short term this could well provide some respite

Well I never thought Last Friday we would see 50p - well near enough so I have reduced elsewhere and added again - should eventually see sense return

Gap higher today and hopefully we head back towards the 80p - 77/78p being the key resistance

Brent charging up higher and this seems to have bottomed and bounced also……very much going up on tiny buys now

Covered this already previously - the buys are definitely more than the sells, based on the ADVFN data. That was up i until last Thursday - that’s when I provided the breakdown. What has transpired the last 3 trading sessions is beyond comprehension for me. So sitting quietly “comparatively” and watching
