The £20k buy this morning was me. I have actually been buying in tranches for the past 2 months and am will continue if the trend upwards does.
I have not posted for a very long time on LSE but been a holder in BOOM for over 8 years. Yes I watched the beautiful rise on hype to the heady £22 days and never sold as a great many did. My buying patterns over the years have been quite varied and pleased to say my average is under £3 now.
Boom is clearly in a strong position for many reasons. The fact they have kept a very low number of shares in issue I find admirable and positive. Many other Aim stocks would have had raises galore and increased Director salaries but thankfully its run as a tight ship. Its also positive for shareholders that its a UK listing, for now! US Companies must look at Boom often and see it as an ideal synergistic latch on to their existing business. We all know the takeover posibilities here ( and I think Tobin would be buying more if he could, he must be shooting himself in the leg, again!, at not being able to buy).
So for 2025 I must say of all my stocks I am actually most upbeat for Boom. I think they have played a blinder by drip feeding positive trading updates into the market pushing the share price up as they clearly anticipate the next set of results coming this month will be equally as impressive. Yes they are getting out of some eroneous contracts shortly and the frustrating days of changing platforms on mobile phones are over.
Pleased to see there is also some more positive dialogue here now too as back in 2022/2023/24 this board was getting a little toxic as many do with big swings in share price.
Happy New Year Boomers.
