Today at 7.40am the BBC did an interview with Kim Bailey CEO of ERA.

She called Music, Video etc growing 4x more than other sectors and called it a “Diamond in the retail sector”. This naturally includes Podcasting. She mentioned Fox, Paramount et al.

I remember many years ago having lunch with Jim Slater back in the early 80s. I asked him what tip he could give to a budding investor. His reply was “buy shares in what you can see, buy what your friends what they spend their money on, go out onto the high street and look at trends. Then do your research in the library and pick your stocks”

I did that, I bought Next at in near single figures”.

That’s why I am in Boom and will stay in Boom.

Like everyone anticipating strong results, tie ups, possible change of exchange and shareholder value.

Billy may well be right to a point and well done for highlighting this. As for me I wouldn’t sell my stock for a 20% return. By the time you have taken tax, guaranteed interest accumulated with cash elsewhere you are probably looking at 7% net return. I would hold for more. That’s my opinion.

As for 2026.. I think we may have a few suprising RNS hopefully positive. I for one have average down my holding this week. An RNS I would like to see is:

XTR are pleased to announce a new strategy with the appointment of an aggressive proactive management team. Colin will take a non Exec Chairman role and has incentivised the team going forward with package that will see XTR immediately push for acquisitions and immediate mining activity.

There. That will shift the price!

Great to see new posters and share buyers in here. I anticipate that these will hit £9 by the date of the results.

For those that have been long term holders and accumulating, the higher range of anticipation on price is almost mind boggling.

I for one will be delighted and look forward to 2026 being the year that Boom is recognised for what it is and hats off to the team for delivering thus far.

Just bottom fishing and topped up my holding with a cheeky 299,212 shares.

Still way down but it’s a leverage.

Well I’ve been watching these. When they were 2p I suggested they would level out at 1.5p prior news.

Im actually surprised to see this entry point so just bought 252,355 shares. Will show shortly.

Agree. As mentioned earlier I think these will settle at 1.5 until something more than rumours moves the price.

Good post Montgomery, The previous high for Boom of £22 was takeover rumours based on its core business. at the time this did not allow for video podcasting as it was not created or a core business in its own right at the time.

Happy days, it looks like long term holders will be rewarded handsomely and deservedly so.
