I remember watching one with Ronnie Corbet and John Cleese at a company I joined many years ago.

The latter I believe owned the production company which made many of these types of films (which can still be found on Youtube if interested) and from which a large part of his personal net worth was derived.

£400k down from recent highs for me but, the same as Droverman, there are no worries here.

Been invested now for 7 years come July and having held tight (and averaged down now to 1.1p) post the Newmont 'Episode' I've seen my modest investment (£22k overall) achieve far greater profits than I ever thought would be possible (16 bagger even at todays sp!) so am quite happy to wait a few more years longer to realise true value (which IMO will be far north of here!) and secure my family's financial futures.

The only problem that I do have with the current sp is that I have no more funds of my own to invest. I will however be buying more for my father, to add to those I bought for him earlier this year in his ISA, come the new financial year!

Happy Easter to all GGP Holders and just sit on your hands, as we all know where this is going long term!

My late grandfather's late brother Jack Lazenby was on Pathfinders! Awarded the DFC and was included in a project that the BBC compiled a while back! Made it 100 years old too!

Thank you Gervaise for enabling me to secure both my own and my families financial futures!

Thanks to GGP I have been able to turn what was a modest inheritance from my dear late Grandfather, almost some 7 years ago now, into a life changing sum of money (for me anyway, even with the sp sat at these currently suppressed levels) and with still so much more to come.

Unlikely as it probably is, I would someday like to shake your hand and buy you a beer (although I do have family in Perth WA so who knows!?)

I first learnt to drive a manual in my mother's Triumph Spitfire 1500 (after starting to drive in my father's automatic Triumph Stag!). Great cars, great memories!

One of the most fun cars I've ever owned was a Fiat 126 in my late twenties/early thirties.

Cost me £350 (back in '93), ran all month on a tank of fuel, would do 40mph uphill flat out in third if you 'really caned it' and I even got £340 back when I sold it before moving to Australia two years later.

The best thing about it was that it was so ''embarrassing'' you didn't need to lock it (as no self respecting thief would be caught dead driving one!) and as the starter cable on mine had snapped seeing the look on peoples' faces when I'd get a broom handle out of the back seat and open the engine bay (to push on the starter lever on the engine to start it!) was priceless!

(Try finding one now for under £5K though, as it seems they've become a bit of a collectors item!)

Totally agree Oilmonkey, as anything north of a 5p annual Divi would certainly secure my whole family's financial future and provide for a very comfortable retirement! (Although I'd also settle for a T/O price north of £1.50ish ;-) )

(Most disappointed to find it had nothing to do with golf though!)
