I gave up work nearly 10 years ago now to care for my late father (Dementia & Alzheimers) who passed away back in Jan 2022.

Whatever I make out of this investment will dictate the kind of retirement I might enjoy going forward, as most of my net worth is tied up in this!

Just hoping the sp will have grown a bit more before I have to start drawing on it (as I will be 61 in January, so virtually unemployable now!) and the 'savings' I have lived off since giving up work to care for my father are depleting rapidly! :-(

Just hoping one of my other investments 'comes good' (c'mon URU!!) before that time comes, so that I can leave my GGP untouched at least until Hav goes live!

What a day that was when Newmont walked, citing 'not at this time'!? I'll never forget THAT day! :-(

My investment was left massively down and I was feeling thoroughly ashamed at how I had just managed to 'spaff away' the modest inheritance my dear late grandfather had left me!

However, I borrowed some more money and averaged down (not that I'd recommend that!) and it appears that it has paid off.

Prior to Rachel 'Thieves' first budget I also withdrew a lump of PCLS from my pension, chucked it in the old ISA and invested the whole £20k into GGP around the time of the share issue prior to the ASX listing.

Now holding 107,500 shares (post consolidation) and sitting on a 932.03% profit of £444,109.06 as of COP today, all from a total overall total investment of £47,649.69. (I also drew out a chunk at 18p old money a few years back and chucked into SAR - Not my smartest move as I sold out recently at a £60k plus loss!)

Has taken over 11 years to get here though and many of those since 2020 have been a tough hold!

Hopefully we will start to finally see true value build steadily now going forward, and I myself am hoping for £10+ a share at some point (and preferably while I am still breathing!)

Who constantly says that my % exposure to GGP gives him sleepless night!! I'll be meeting with him shortly (to introduce a friend who requires his services), so will take great pleasure in being able to say 'I told you so'! ;-)

Well I first bought into MILA in May of this year Surin and I'm still sitting on a 152.57% profit!

Well Baileysea, unless I am mistaken weren't the initial grades reported at Yarrol better than those first reported at Havieron? (After all that's why I invested!)

Newmont had 'Bigger fish to fry' with their other mines Baileysea (however they did retain a 10% holding in GGP as part of the sale which is worth far more now a year on!)

Heddle isn't the only one who has done well out of GGP though, as there are many LTHs who 'made a packet' after they sold out at the ATH in 2020.

I didn't unfortunately, but as of COB today I am still 899.43% up on my initial investment (first purchase made some 11.5 years ago now) and am sitting on a tidy profit of £428,575.31 (so can't complain) and with far more upside to come IMHO!

I look at MILA as being in a similar position to GGP back when I first invested in July 2014, which is why I (and other GGP LTHs) are invested here now.

It won't happen overnight, mining never does, but I do believe that those of us with the patience to wait it out could be rewarded handsomely over time!

I took what little I had left and stuck it into URU.

All looking good now that the Mining Rights have been granted (for the next 35 years) and currently just awaiting a T/O (which will no doubt be coming at some point and hopefully sometime next year!)

we had the **** shorted out of us for many years following on from the 2020 ath (plus that snake gh announcing he was 'buying more' whilst he was offloading his millions of shares in the background)!

still looks like this is finally on the turn and about time too (as it's been a rollercoaster ride over the last 11 plus years personally and it's about time the share price re-rated considering the pog and what we now have!)

I will be the first to happily eat humble pie Krone if (IF!) any deal should transpire, whislt breathing a huge sigh of relief for my brother's holding!

I myself however will still be sitting an a £60k+ loss, having already sold up (but hey at least that amount will have covered two, if not the three, of their bonuses for last year!!)
