''I would be all for accepting £3.50 for all of my shares now''
That would equate to a 37.39% profit for me personally but far short of what I'd eventually hoped for (but far better than my current 78.66% loss).
But might just be worth it just to be finally rid of this 'sh it show' (and buy more GGP whilst their sp is still being
f8 cked with!?!) 🤔😒
''Apologies investors speaking in the room can not be heard . The venue audio is not available for in room attendees''.
Did they not say that they were currently 'in the offices of their new COMMUNICATIONS Company''!?!
(FFS! You couldn't make it up!!? 🤔🤨)
Question is do they actually care!?!!
Audio is appalling!!!!
(Poor planning again!!??)
No problem Ace, just venting!
Have no doubt that we will come good in the end (just starting to get really concerned that I might have had to sell up before we get there! 😔)
I hope so Trippy as unfortunately I'm likely to become a 'distressed seller' sometime during 2025 the way things are going (and having been invested here for a decade next July I don't want to 'fall at the last hurdle' so to speak and spend the rest of my life regretting not selling in Dec 2019! 😢)
It's certainly looking as if SD doesn't give a R8t's A r*e about the sp and he has, as you say, done sweet FA to release news more strategically (in case it might have made a difference!)
(The way the funding 'leak' was dealt with was also not great!)
Just logged on!
So 7.18% down today on WHAT exactly!?!
Anyone else getting really sick of this cr8p!!!
Was 15 years ago now Fanti!
''Not sure what PH cost us a year also not sure how SAR has benefitted from the association''.
Probably like the PR company that my last employer had on 'retainer' at some £20k a year (for which they had done absolutely sweet f8ck all for prior to my arrival!)
They looked as if they thought they were going to get 'binned' when they turned up to our first meeting (and they were 100% correct!!) 😉🤣😁
Should do the same with PH (unless we can be shown specific examples of tangible benefits from employing them!!)
Same here Ace!
Thanks Carter19.
It's a very large sum in 'real money' not paper profit (for me anyway) to be down, but as my original investment here was from profits already made on GGP (I'm lucky as my average over there is 1.1p and I'm still sitting on a 781% profit even at todays sp, despite having seen over £600K in paper profits evaporate since December 2019!) so it could be far worse I suppose.
Still 'trusting the science' (although the BOD's business acumen not so much lately!) and it's been a 'binary play' for me for a while now.
I'll either lose the lot (hopefully not) or we'll see the much awaited and hoped for £1 billion + T/O!!
(Hopefully not long to wait now until official results of first P1 trials of 1801 too)
GL
Cornford or Mellon, Ace?
''I wonder how many LTH's would opt for 3 quid''
Personally I wouldn't be too overjoyed about it, but at least I'd break even (just about!).
The intention was always to reinvest any profits made here back into GGP, so as I sold there at 18p to buy in here (and they are now at 9.9p) at least I'd end up with a few more shares over there so I suppose it wouldn't be all bad!
Currently siting on a £59.6k real money loss so would rather stick it out here for the billion £+ T/O (when and if it ever comes!)
same here! (**** isn't it!!!??? 🤔😒)
I'd prefer £1.143 personally! 😉😁
if it all comes good here ace, we will be demolishing what was the family home that i grew up in and building two detached properties on the plot (one each for my brother and myself) so no point really in spending any money on it (or on additional insulation or a better heating system).
it needs a lot doing to it so if we can't build we're probably better of selling to a developer and moving on? in the meantime we just freeze our ****** off in the winter (but it's worth it in the summer!)
so a lot riding on ggp all coming good!!
''Ps it ain’t half cold outside:)))))'
It's bloody cold inside at ours! (7 degrees in the bathroom this morning!)
Problem with 100 year old house with only a log fire to heat the sitting room (electric storage heaters too old and too bl**dy expensive to run at £140 a week!) :-(
''Didn't Tim once put a price of £800m each for 1801/2?''
£22.70 per share? 🤔 (that'll do me! 😉😁)
Thanks MFU. Lost dad two years ago next Jan and still miss him in spite of all the difficulties towards the end.
When this finally 'pays out' Dementia UK will certainly be getting a chunk in the hope that a cure can finally be found for what is such an awful disease!
Here's to 2024 being 'our year'!
I was Spy.
My first purchase was on the 3/7/2014 - 240,060 shares for the princely sum of £1, 025.00! (Oh hindsight!?!)
Continued adding throughout 2017 (after selling most of my other holdings at a loss!)
After that 'fateful morning RNS' when Newmont stated 'not this time' and walked away I borrowed money (yes I know!!!) to buy more with a current average of 1.1p
Wish I'd sold some at the ATH (who doesn't?!) but sold a chunk (280k odd shares) in July '21 (at 18.1p) and chucked it all in SAR with a view to ploughing the profits back into GGP (which has taken longer than I'd hoped but still hopeful and that's the plan!)
Finally looks like some 'light at the end of the tunnel' after a shtity three years!?! 😃
