Just sold half of my holding in SAR (at 75% loss I might add) and chucked it all in here in the hope of recouping some of said losses (and then some!)

Now hold a modest 91,672 (having been invested here for years and previously sitting on a huge loss!)

Here's hoping for at least 50p on the MR announcement (and soon) with hopefully much more following a T/O!!! (Hopefully a bidding war!)

Decided to sell half my holding at a loss and chuck it all in URU (in the hopes that their expected Mining Rights announcement (and possible T/O) comes off!

(Can't be any more risky than here!!)

Will hopefully recoup some of my SAR losses and depending upon what we get 'fed' by the BOD at the AGM I may buy back in again over time!

1) there is no way i would sell one single ggp share at this moment in time (as my holding will have doubled imo, by the time havieron comes on line (which would see us back to well over the previous 2020 ath's, back when we only held 30% of it and little else!)

2) i've sunk as much as i intend to into sar and will not be investing one single penny more! it's time for this bod to start earning what they already take out of the company's coffers and stop with the 'form an orderly queue' & 'if we have an agm next year' bull****!! if it weren't for share holders bailing them out after the rf ****show we would have been sunk long ago imo!)

as far as 'this all plays into a buyout being the most likely outcome imo' only time will tell!

i do hope you're correct, but in how many months/years and at what price!? (some of us aren't getting any younger!)

just venting really as throughly p1ssed off at the contempt the bod appear to hold pis in (which has been quite clear by the body language at previous agms imho) and bearing in mind it was we who saved the company by ploughing in yet more funds when they royally fukced up with the rf **** show!! (way to go parker!).

as i previously said, my entire investment here is from ggp profits rather than 'hard earnt' and as i've already replaced the ggp shares i sold in order to buy in here (and for only a third of what i originally sold them for) in reality if i lost the lot here i wouldn't be much worse off than had i never invested in sar in the first place.

as a result i'll probably let it ride because as you said 'imagine how you'd have regretted it if you'd sold out of there too early' regarding ggp!

I'm at the point now where depending upon what transpires during the next meeting, I may just cut my losses (all £65k of it!), take what's remaining and invest it elsewhere (MILA perhaps?) to attempt to recoup at least some of my initial stake!

I'm fortunate enough though that my entire stake here was financed entirely by profits from GGP (and I've even managed to buy back all of the GGP shares that I originally sold for a third of the price I sold them for!) so it wouldn't be a 'real money' loss per say!?

(My only regret is having convinced my brother to invest here also, albeit at a lower B/E price than mine of 34p!)

802.42% (£382,350.31 in profit) to be exact at time of writing! (but far less than the 3,192.96% back in 2020!).

Time will tell who's right Laz (having already experienced similar behaviour with Shanta Gold!) and let's just see what hard facts regarding 'progress' we get (or don't) on the 23rd Oct shall we? Not long to wait now.

which says to me two things:-

a) he didn't think it through?!

here's another thought whilst i'm at it!

what if the rf ****show (which i still remain convinced was sp's idea imho) was fully intentional in order to destroy the sp price so as to leave us vulnerable for a cheap t/o (by whoever)?

after we long suffering investors had ploughed in yet more funds to save the company (and their sorry asses) that idea was then scuppered?

what if this current 'pathway' is yet another attempt to do what the rf episode failed to achieve, drive down the sp in order to facilitate the same end result?

(just a thought!)
