same here! (**** isn't it!!!??? π€π)
I'd prefer Β£1.143 personally! ππ
if it all comes good here ace, we will be demolishing what was the family home that i grew up in and building two detached properties on the plot (one each for my brother and myself) so no point really in spending any money on it (or on additional insulation or a better heating system).
it needs a lot doing to it so if we can't build we're probably better of selling to a developer and moving on? in the meantime we just freeze our ****** off in the winter (but it's worth it in the summer!)
so a lot riding on ggp all coming good!!
''Ps it ainβt half cold outside:)))))'
It's bloody cold inside at ours! (7 degrees in the bathroom this morning!)
Problem with 100 year old house with only a log fire to heat the sitting room (electric storage heaters too old and too bl**dy expensive to run at Β£140 a week!) :-(
''Didn't Tim once put a price of Β£800m each for 1801/2?''
Β£22.70 per share? π€ (that'll do me! ππ)
Thanks MFU. Lost dad two years ago next Jan and still miss him in spite of all the difficulties towards the end.
When this finally 'pays out' Dementia UK will certainly be getting a chunk in the hope that a cure can finally be found for what is such an awful disease!
Here's to 2024 being 'our year'!
I was Spy.
My first purchase was on the 3/7/2014 - 240,060 shares for the princely sum of Β£1, 025.00! (Oh hindsight!?!)
Continued adding throughout 2017 (after selling most of my other holdings at a loss!)
After that 'fateful morning RNS' when Newmont stated 'not this time' and walked away I borrowed money (yes I know!!!) to buy more with a current average of 1.1p
Wish I'd sold some at the ATH (who doesn't?!) but sold a chunk (280k odd shares) in July '21 (at 18.1p) and chucked it all in SAR with a view to ploughing the profits back into GGP (which has taken longer than I'd hoped but still hopeful and that's the plan!)
Finally looks like some 'light at the end of the tunnel' after a shtity three years!?! π
Then don't use stop losses - Simples!
just logged in.
and why the drop, for what reason ffs!?!?!?
(thought this might happen though. first take it up to raise everyone's hopes of a turnaround before driving it back down again to 'panic' people into selling so they can 'mop up' their sells for whoever it is who is currently loading up!)
abject ******* crooks!!! π‘π€¬π‘π€¬
(won't be getting any of mine though!)
Hi Rebster408,
I first took a look at SAR after you mentioned it here and decided to jump in.
Trials looking hopeful, so here's to a great result when the full P1a data pack finally published in 2024!? π
H Lazarus,
Never was 'in loss' on this share as it was only ever paper profits (with my average of 1.1p here, unlike SAR where I'm currently down Β£58k in real money, albeit from some GGP I sold at 18p back in July '21 to invest into SAR) but good to see some of the previous 'paper profits' here finally returning. The last three years have been 'painful' to say the least!
SAR looking hopeful too and if that pans out I will be chucking it all back into GGP (which was always the plan from the beginning, but it has just taken longer than I'd hoped).
I have no intention of selling any now (unless forced to by circumstances) until we are north of 50p minimum (which will come eventually IMHO)
GL and here's to 2024 being our year (on both investments!!)
@ mal111
Nope!! (AIMO & #conjecture)
Can't say I'm sorry to see the back of them either!!!
Onwards and upwards!!!
''FCA not fit for purpose''.
Never was! The feckless tw8t that used to run it is now in charge of the Bank of England FFS!! Go figure?!?
''I can not see them pulling out''.
Well for those who were here at the time, none of us thought they would walk away from Ernest Giles (having crawled all over it for 6 months) citing ''not at this time'' (and we all know what that did to the sp!!)
(Just praying history doesn't repeat itself!) π€
Be nice to find ourselves in a JV where the other party 'plays with a straight bat' and doesn't try to screw us over (unlike NCM did IMHO)?
I for one am relieved to see the back of them and maybe now we'll start to see fair value where our SP is concerned!?!
Fingers crossed! π€
''weβve had years of RNS after RNS and whether good or bad, share price usually fell.''
Yeah and it's no coincidence IMHO that all of the sp fcukery over the last 3 years appears to have abruptly stopped now that NCM are no more!! π€π
Can't say I'm sorry to see the back of them either!! π‘
''Seeing my profit dwindle to negative really hurts''
Then try it with real money!
Currently sitting on a loss (real money not paper profit) of Β£59.694.61 and need to see a sp of Β£2.577 just to break even!!
C'mon SAR!!! We know you can do it!!
Deserttrader
I probably would too, albeit extremely reluctantly (and would still be greatly disappointed and feel we'd been robbed of our true value!)
''your not joe bass are you?''
My thoughts too Topslicer100 (but couldn't remember his name!)
@96dc2
Whilst somewhat short of my original target sp, if an offer of 50p came in I'd probably take it now, as the last three years has totally worn me out mentally!
All out of our control now though as IMO we are merely 'passengers' on this ride from her on in and what will be will be!
