Please remember(and I’m sure you are aware!!) that Hargreaves Lansdown and AJBell etc are merely representative holdings of the individual private shareholders(you and me) that they represent/deal for.
They are not institutional holders as such.
As a consequence,the percentage of “general public’’ you state is grossly incorrect.
